Chapter 138: A dinner invite

"Hah..." Lauren sighs as she walks down the street with her hands on her pocket while her feet taking a few steps and her every step continues with her kicking any piece of stones or pebbles that came on her way. She was just so immersed in her thought totally unaware of the looks she got when the people gave her for throwing the pebbles towards their way. It was still good that none of them spoke and just ignored her as she seemed to be completely lost from the world around her. 

Her mind was filled with all the things and talks she had with the people in the hospital and even Ryan himself. She just wasn't in her sense maybe...? But she was growing suspicious of Ryan's world. Lauren was sure that something had happened to him and she felt even more hopeless because he would never open up to her. She still had hoped if he would ever let her in and let her see his world... the real world where he actually lives.
