Chapter 172: A danger to her

"You know that person, don't you?" 

Jamie gulps blinking her eyes at her younger who stayed put on her feet with the same expression, Jamie clears her throat facing Lauren. 

"Of c-course, I would know that p-person... after everything that happened during the incident. " Jamie stutters out her words with shaky breath hoping Lauren would buy her explanation. Lauren sighs out a deep breath with her head hung low, she raises her head back up examining her sister's face with sorrow. 

"I am sorry, Jamie. " Lauren mumbles looking away as her eyes blink away the tears which were slowly forming, her nerves turn red in her eyes the more she tries hard not to cry. 

"Hey, It's okay. " Jamie says smiling at her younger, Lauren sniffs sub-consciously making Jamie frown in concern, finding Lauren getting emotional Jamie chuckles walking towards her sister then engulfing her in a tight hug.
