Chapter 127: Ayane's First Day

**Halloween 2023 special**

Hello there, my name is Ayane, a fifth year student from the Exorcist academy training to be a warrior. And as of today, I am being send outside to fulfill my final assignment—to the middle world we called Earth. I was excited as you can tell by my furrowed brows and golden eyes shimmering. I've only heard what's on Earth—who knows what can you find out there!

The man in white robe who's been standing in between of me and the enormous gate, has been looking at me with a tired face.

"Ayane-san, are you sure you're ready for this?"

I nod my head many times, "Of course I am ready for this what do you mean? I've been training five years and now, this assignment is the only thing that stands between me and my future sword."

He just stands there and sighs. I can't blame him for hating his duty. Guarding the gate between worlds is really just… a boring job.
