Chapter 3: Friends?
After we had introduced our self's to each other,Ru said shyly,"Do you mind if I sit with you for a while?"
I smiled for the first time today,and it felt good. I nodded and Ru came to sit by me.
"Do you like to swim?" I asked. Ru shook his head "I can't swim"
"What if I taught you?" I asked.
"No you don't have to."
"You are sad" he said. I was surprised that he could read my emotions that easily.
"Your eyes are red" he said as a way of explanation.
"Yes I'm sad." My Grandpa is died last night"
"Oh I'm sorry" Ru said. I wondered why I could tell him and not Lisa.
I suddenly looked at the clock and I saw that it was seven O'Clock. I almost jumped off my feet.
"I'm sorry I have to go",I said to Ru. " OK bye" he said.
Then I went home. I might have just made a new friend.
