Chapter 58: She Was Perfect
They both hot to the company and the workers began to whisper to themselves as they pass.
"Oh miss Min is finally back, it has been four years now." One of the employees said.
"And she looks even more pretty." Another said.
Min Ah smiled brightly when she heard that.
"She might be pretty by Mr Du's girlfriend is even prettier, oh I envy her skin so much, i wish I could have it." Another employee said.
Min Ah glared angrily at her.
"Sorry mam." The employee apologised and went to her cubicle.
Immediately they entered the elevator, the employees continued.
"Seems like Xiao Li has been here a lot of times." Min Ah said looking straightforward.
"Of course, the wife of Du Lixin must know how her husband's place of work is and since she's still a student, she doesn't come here often." Du Lixin said with a little smile.
"She is still a student?" Min Ah didn't expect that.
"You just heard me."
"Isn't she too young to get married to you, and just by seeing her picture, I know she would be a lot younger than you are. Du Lixin did you ask her how she felt about getting married to you at such a young age?"
"I don't think that should bother you." Du Lixin said as he walked out of the elevator.
Min Ah also followed. "I know but I'm concerned about her, like nowadays generation don't like getting married at such a young age."
"Can we stop talking about this, I'm...."
'Knock knock'
Du Lixin smiled when he saw who walked in. "Sweetheart you don't have to knock when entering your hubby's office, it's yours too." Du Lixin said as he walked up to her and kissed her. "And we just left the elevator, did you use the general elevator?"
"Mm." Xiao Li softly answered.
"How was your day?" Du Lixin asked as he led Xiao Li to the sofa.
Min Ah just sat there like she never existed immediately Xiao Li walked in.
She couldn't help but admit that this Xiao Li is incredibly pretty, her skin, her hair texture, everything about her was perfect. She was even more angry that Du Lixin chose this little girl over her, well she wouldn't be hard to deal with.
Xiao Li finally noticed Min Ah. "Hello"
"Hi, you must be Xiao Li." Min Ah said with a fake smile.
"Yes and you?" Xiao Li softly asked.
"Ermm..I'm"
"She's my childhood friend I talked about, Min Ah. She studied abroad and came back after four years." Du Lixin interrupted.
"You didn't have to introduce me like that." Min Ah said to herself.
