Chapter 52: Marriage Proposal

Wu SuYi could tell the look on Han XiGuang's face. It was the face of someone who had his possession taken and would do anything to take them back. Looking at him caused her heart to shake.

"Steven was joking."

"A joke? About marriage? No one would usually ever joke about marriages," Han XiGuang spoke, rather spiteful with his tone.

"No," Wu SuYi hurried, not wanting her words to be cut into more misunderstandings. "It was a joke but he had said it also out of consideration. He wouldn't marry me because he already has a girlfriend who he will marry soon."

Han XiGuang stared at her eyes. "You mean he's engaged?" Seeing her nod, he covered his face from embarrassment.

He was really well played by that Sinclair guy. He knew that he liked Wu SuYi and had in purpose ignited jealousy in him. He couldn't believe he had fallen to such a trap.
