Chapter 33: Dark Humor

Wu SuYi was staggered by Han XiGuang's deep confession. He had said the truth, she knew it right from seeing his determined expression. While she was touched, Wu SuYi was at loss of words. She couldn't tell him yes, not when she was also confused by her own emotions.

Finding her troubled face, Han XiGuang smiled, "Please do not think I had said this to pressure you into accepting me. My deepest heart want to have you but I don't simply want your agreement or your body. I want it for you to follow your heart. When your heart is ready to follow me, I will wait for that time."

Like a fish pulled from water, Wu SuYi stared at his face for a long two second, "You are too kind. Is that enough for you?" To wait for her without getting anything?

Han XiGuang smiled, "You might think this is my kind action, but SuYi, you're wrong. This is my selfishness."
