I was rather pissd off that Kurama didn't listen to me. I asked him for the location of that brat and he left the place without saying a single word. The heck was that man. Following him, I had reached the prison. I wonder why he came here. Don't tell me he wants to bring out one of his own from here? Whatever that might be I have not been involved in his affair. What I want is where is that brat. He had caused more than enough pain. I have to kill him. I don't want to make a fool out of me. As I entered the prison, the first thing that I noticed was my shoes were wet. It wasn't because of sweat rather the floor was flooded with Bright red liquid. I stepped back for a moment unable to grasp it. But as my eyes wandered around, I figured out one after one dead body. The blood was coming from them. Unwantedly I spoke with fury, clenching my fist, "That Kurama." It was sudden but the lights were gone and the entire floor went dark. Unfortunately, I had no light source with me. Without feeling scared for a second, I marched forward with was bearing heart. I had experienced those kinds of things in the past. There are just peddles in the streets to me. The stepping sound echoed loudly and my feet stopped at a certain entrance. It was a room that was completely different from any other ones I saw on my way. The thing that felt weird was there wasn't a single monster to be found. Did they run away as Kurama helped them? All I saw were corpses. I had already prepared for this day. If I had to die I would rather die fighting. The room had a bright devilish aura that I had never experienced before. And what surprised me more is that it keep increasing like a money scheme. I felt like I was about to enter a darkish hell. But then again I got a glimpse of Inside. My eyes widen as a familiar figure was there. It was none other than the one I hate 'Jodan." He had a unique way to him. The aura he was emitting is not the same one. It had drastically changed and I could see his dead eyes filled with no emotions. Nothing just a human shell. What I could say with confidence is "Pure Evil" How did he get so strong? I could feel it. Is he level 1? no might be even higher.
He was standing but it felt like he was just mocking me to have a fight. It has given me much motivation. Feeling much energetic I took a step back and jumped as I leap on the air.
"I'm here to finish you, Jodan!" I was extremely happy as I had never expected him to be here. This is another level of enjoyment. The members of 'Thirsty Wolves' weren't stunned because of me but rather they had their attention locked on Jodan only.
"This is your last time seeing me!" As I took out both of my blades from behind and was about to strike him, an unknown force grabbed me from behind. No, it was as if I was laminating on air. "The he---"
[Ability: Gravity manipulation activated.]
"Huh?--"
Just for a second, my mind went blank as I glimpsed the devil. He was indeed a devil. The look on his face, the face everything was a perfect fit to be called the devil. This isn't the Jodan. This isn't indeed the Jodan I fought. This is something easy. Something that can't be called….
"SLAMMM!"
I was slammed on the ground with an unknown force. He didn't even move his plumb but crushed me to bits without a doubt. What is this beast in the form to me? I was greatly shocked and amazed at the same time.
"I don't have time to play with you." That was the first line I heard. He had a cold and boorish tone to his voice. It felt like he had completely switched his personality. He had turned himself I'm a real monster. The monster that I hated most. Jodan was about to walk away from me but I wouldn't forfeit without having a proper fight. I need to fight this devil to become more strong. This is my only chance. I grabbed his white leg that had scars on them. "I haven't given up yet. Fight with me Jodan!"
He looked back at me with a sneering expression but soon it turned to a grin. "You're alive? That's a surprise."
But this time I didn't felt any force grabbing me. "Well, you can be the first human to die by me after so long. Be grateful." The moment he had finished his sentence he laid out his right leg on-air and smashed my back hard. My body was making a hole in the floor. Each time he strick with his leg, it went deeper and deeper.
"Hahaha! Hahahah! It felt so good!! I felt alive!!" He was laughing as if it was giving me the pleasure he hadn't had for a long time. This isn't time to think. If this continues I would be dead in no time. I hurriedly swung my blade the moment he had risen his leg to strick again and sliced his ankle.
"Now what would you do." I pushed myself to stand. My thorax might have broken. But the second I looked up he had his leg still in the same position. There was blood that was coming from his sliced ankle. For once I glanced at him. He just smugged at me as if I made a grave mistake.
"Humans sure are fools." As I gazed back at his feet, alas! It was fully healed. You could even see his foot that I had cut earlier. No monsters I had seen in my life had such regeneration power. He was right I had totally made a fool out of me. This is the last time I might see this world. I wonder if I had full filled my mission.
The bow landed on Nicolai's head making everything inside his head shattered everywhere you could see. The room was becoming a playground for Dercy.
"Oops sorry I forget to tell you, I'm not Jodan. It's Dercy now."
"Why the hell are you, Ms. Clara. This is absurd! We need you most here!" I felt quite irritated as Mr. Lukas was in a critical position. "I can't wait any longer. I have to hurry. Sorry, Mr. Lukas." I have seen everything that happened in the torture cell from here through CCTV. I don't know how the hell Jodan got so powerful all of a sudden. I hurriedly went out of the room and began coughing as the dust went inside me. The entire prison was broken. You could see the sky out of the ceiling. It was because the prison was not multiple floored although it has many ground floors. The one that is more secured is this floor because of the prison master who looks after it with his own eyes. It would be a pain to search for him now. I Have to hurry or else...No, I don't want to think about that possibility. As I entered the torture room brutality cast on me. It was the most grudge of some things I saw in my entire life. The room had a complete makeover from white to bright red. The army of Kurama was fighting with a single individual. I had my eyes locked at the scene but soon it averted to the lonely body of a man laying hopelessly near the wall. It felt like he had already given up fighting. His body was engrossed with blood. Without thinking for a second I went near him. Nobody noticed me as they were so determined in the fight. But I felt like Jodan had certainly noticed me as he and I exchanged glances for a second. Rather than paying attention to him, I left for Mr. Lukas. His eyes were half-closed.
"Mr. Lukas! Sir! Sir! You okay?" My worriedness was exposed through words. However, Mr. Lukas wasn't a bit happy to see me worrying.
"You came here to die?" His voice had become softer, "haven't said you not to come here?"
"I can't...I can't..just leave you like this." This is getting over my head.
"Ms. Clara isn't answering my calls, I didn't know what to do now…"
"Reyes, You don't have to worry so much."
"Don't say that. Let me take you to the hospital. You're badly injured. Come on.." I held him and was about to stand up but failed to do that as he shouted with pain. "Ah! Don't, Reyes!" I could feel his pain in abdominal. It was in severe condition. He was holding it with his might but in the end, he's just a human. He can't regenerate like those monsters. This is….This... ridicules… Not to mention the stabbed wound that I couldn't understand.
"Sir, Just try a bit." He did listen to my request but his body didn't. It falls down on the floor again. "Give up, Reyes."
"I don't...I don't...give up." He patted my head as I was throbbing and sobbing. "This isn't how it is supposed to be…."
I let him lay down on the floor with a hopeless heart.
"Save him, Reyes "
"Who?"
"The one who had got through more pain than any of us."
His gaze went from me to that individual. "Jodan?" It was indeed him. He might have been in pain because of us and that's an undeniable fact.
"Save me? He's a monster?"
Mr. Lukas didn't have his cold-hearted looks today rather it was a soft and regretful self. "I was wrong Reyes. I made the same old mistake."
"I don't understand what are you saying. What mistake? Save who? The one who should be saved now is you."
"See, Reyes that's not Jodan anymore. His the child of his mother. We pushed him off the cliff and now he's not in himself. Look Reyes do you still think he's the Jodan who never dreamed of harming anyone, the one who kept fighting to save his humanity?" Having a sinister grin on his face the individual that was once known by the name Jodan was massacring the army of Kurama as if they were nothing but ants. His eyes had no reflection, no empathy, no texture nothing on it. Only blank dark round eyes that were shrinking with evil. His arms move simultaneously in a dynamic way that can't be described. It appeared as if he was giving a live performance that he was confident in. What power! This is like a drastic change that I couldn't even think of it. The Jodan who had me thinking whether or not he is the fault or not for days has eased my confusion.
"Hahah!" The laughs that came out of his mouth one at a time made him pure evil. The blood-splashing image of him had made its way to my memories. What a boorish scene! I couldn't help but glaze with wonder. Is this the same Jodan who saved a child? Of course, he's not the same but he had himself within the shell, although who is now doesn't concern me. He had finally given up his humanity. What could you expect? He had now become a full-form monster that doesn't think twice when killing. His legs were sliced earlier by none other than Mr. Lukas but it had now grown its way back like a new one although there are scars that were indeed visible. He wasn't resisting a bit when killing. A group of guards that weren't supposed to come here with heavy techs that even I didn't see in my life. Will it work on this monster? Perhaps not. It might be effective but I can't say how much. They were truly shocked to see the fights amongst the monsters but they didn't back off and turned their tail rather onward with great will. But there was a mistake they made. They approached the mighty monster rather than taking the small fry's first. The mistake had taken their life within a minute. "A hamburger!" Jodan took two slabs out of the floor and crushed them on between as if he was making a sandwich. Blood slipped the floor.
"You have to take him out of the darkness, Reyes. This is your last and final order."
