Chapter 148: I saw you smile at me for the first time

Dina did not touch him and stopped right before her hand could come in close contact with the solid muscles on his arms. She instantly pulled her hands away and moved several feet backward.

'What the hell am I doing? Going so close to him and almost touching him! Did I lose my mind?' She knocked on her head several times to calm her flustered mind.

When Adrian did not feel her presence next to him any longer, he slowly opened his eyes and looked at her. He didn't know why but he did feel slightly disappointed and his eyes reflected his thoughts. Before Dina could analyze his reaction, he moved away from him and swiftly went towards the pan.

He then placed the dishes on the bowl and brought them outside, to the dining room. As Dina thought that she should also help him, she picked two plates from the cupboard and walked towards the dining table.
