While our MC was reveling in obtaining his OP cheat, another discussion unfolded elsewhere.
"Are you okay, Mito?" Tobirama asked, breaking the attention of a middle-aged lady in the room.
She had been studying one of the two quick sketches he had made for more than 10 minutes before his interruption.
"Do you know her?" He inquired again after a beat.
"Yes. She's my older sister. Aika Uzumaki. I haven't seen her for more than 40 years," replied Mito Uzumaki, the middle-aged lady.
She threw a couple more longing looks at the sketch before taking a deep, tired breath. Then, she continued.
"It's not unusual that you can't get away from her sealing techniques. She's way stronger than I am. I don't think that I ever beat her in anything," Mito said, her gaze fond but tinged with sadness as she reminisced about her older sister.
The days of the past were precious yet torturous at the same time.
"She is indeed strong. I couldn't even use my Hiraishin no Jutsu to escape. If not for that old man who helped me, Saru would have truly been Hokage today," Tobirama said seriously.
Still, he wasn't afraid of death, having long accepted that it could come at any moment in the cruel and unpredictable world of the Shinobi.
"And you say that this old man uses some weird techniques that you have never seen before. At least he isn't our enemy," Mito remarked.
"For now," And the ever sunny and positive Tobirama replied darkly.
