Chapter 39: Do You Want To Come?
They started the meeting; it was at 10:00 a.m. sharp. There Yang Tian-Xu introduced Wang Yi-An as his intern. “This is Wang Yi-An. She is my intern and will act as the Art Director on this Project.”
Yang Tian-Xu said as he kept his hands on her shoulders. Never wanting to take them off of her, Wang Yi-An stood out with a smile, “It is my pleasure to be meeting with you.” Wang Yi-An took a bow as she greeted everyone. Wang Yi-An went to take her seat on the right side next to Assistant Tseng and then she takes out her sketchbook from her backpack she was carrying around her.
Yang Tian-Xu could only clutch his own hands and thought to himself. “I don’t think I can wash these hands today...” Then he snapped out of his fantasy and took a seat down in the president’s chair, even though he honestly wanted to sit next to Wang Yi-An. While Jin Qi-Long, Lee Yin-Yin and her manager sat in the chairs to Yang Tian-Xu’s left side.
Wang Yi-An might have just average looks, and perhaps a little short, Jin Qi-Long stares at Wang Yi-An and still, he cannot believe this is the girl they were talking about just now. Jin Qi-Long let out a smirk on his face and shook his head.
“What?” Yang Tian-Xu said after he saw Jin Qi-Long shook his head.
“Nothing…” he replied and just kept smiling and then he focused his attention towards Lee Yin-Yin and engaged in a conversation with her.
Not looking like a supermodel or amazing; normal people would consider Wang Yi-An's looks to be average. However, she had a talent that was so rare, perhaps only she has that talent within City Y, or maybe the entire Country. Photographic memory and speed drawing. Speed drawing was when someone could draw just as fast as someone could speak. If she wanted to, within an hour, Wang Yi-An could draw up the entire conversations they have, but that would be unnecessary. These two talents of her were why Assistant Tseng was so impressed with her during the interview. However, that was not the reason Yang Tian-Xu was so into her.
No, Yang Tian-Xu had fallen in love with her at first sight. He wanted to keep the reason he loves Wang Yi-An so much a secret, all to himself, only until he can finally tell her one day.
At the meeting, they discussed the commercial story. The story was straightforward, as Lee Yin-Yin have such an angelic and graceful look, Jin Qi-Long wanted the story to be about an angel that had ascended from the heaven. The angel’s scent carried an irresistibility that no man can resist.
Lee Yin-Yin liked that idea. They sat there and talked about what the colours of her custom outfits would look like. Meanwhile, Wang Yi-An quickly drew sample sketches of the entire story, while they speak.
Of course, Jin Qi-Long loves to throw compliments at Lee Yin-Yin. Lee Yin-yin’s manager would just sit there laughing along with him is doing chit chats. All while, Yang Tian-Xu would ignore them as he glances over at Wang Yi-An’s work.
He smiled at her as she continues to draw without even noticing his, or anyone’s present. She's always absorbed in her work, a great focus appeared on Wang Yi-An's expression, she never complains about it, she loves her job.
Jin Qi-Long curiosity continues, as he wonders why. Why would Yang Tian-Xu love such a dull and average girl? However, he cannot stop his stares at the beautiful woman sitting beside him; Lee Yin-Yin. Jin Qi-Long's current thoughts were how he could get Lee Yin-Yin to fall for him, perhaps sleep with him.
Jin Qi-Long is a typical wealthy playboy. Yang Tian-Xu is someone different, He's serious about his work and always have been. However, because of Wang Yi-An, he had become someone who desires such fantasy.
Yang Tian-Xu couldn’t stand sitting far away from Wang Yi-An, so he made an excuse, he got up and went over the other side of Wang Yi-An and pretend to tell her what colours to use. It would take Wang Yi-An 20 minutes to finish the rough drafts, however, with Yang Tian-Xu kept changing his demands she took a whole hour to complete. After completing the sketches, Yang Tian-Xu would present out for Jin Qi-Long and Lee Yin-Yin.
The well-done sketches won't be use during the real filming of the commercial which was a little sad, because the drawings looked amazing. Everyone thought they could just use it. However, Faithful Gold Enterprise wanted to have Lee Yin-Yin act in this commercial. They could also feature her new hit song, “I long for you.”
After Yang Tian-Xu went over the script, it impressed everyone. Satisfied with the plan, they went with the idea. However the only changed needed was the packaging design. Lee Yin-Yin suggested having it in a cuter style; so Wang Yi-An drew a new design, and later after about 20-minutes for back and forward discussion, the final sketch had satisfied Lee Yin-Yin's demand. What's left was for Wang Yi-An to make a digital printable-template design for the packaging, for that she'll be able to complete it within three to four hours. However, she would need to use the computer to create the printable templates for the manufacturer.
The time was almost 12:00 p.m., and finally after Lee Yin-Yin was happy with her contract with Faithful Gold Enterprise, and the third party organisation as the production company, which was Yang Corps. She signed the contract as Faithful Gold Enterprise’s Spoke-Person for the perfume Grace. Jin Qi-Long was so delighted that he had to offered to treat everyone to lunch. It is now finally the time for Yang Tian-Xu and Wang Yi-An to have a meal together! Yang Tian-Xu couldn’t be any happier and asked her, “Do you want to come?”
“Sure.” Wang Yi-An said as she smiled and thought, “Free food, why not? I didn’t bring my lunch today.” Wang Yi-An had been rejecting his offer to lunch for the first week. And now she had finally agreed to go out for lunch with him, he let; he wishes they could have just gone alone together.
