    I can't believe that I was standing here. And wearing this ridiculous formal attire as well. I didn't care that it was standard. I didn't care that I got compliments from all the ladies that had passed me so far. It wasn't my way of doing things. And I hated to be the center of attention like this.

    "Dammit!" I snapped under my breath. "Where the hell is Callum? If he were here, the people would be paying attention to him instead of me."
