Chapter 296: The Unfortunate Adventures of One Hunter Lee

Although the evening turned out to be much more of a fanfare than usual, it graually calmed down as midnight arrived, signaling the start of a new day. Although I was again forced to sleep with Leo in his bed, he didn't pester me too much, probably to compensate for everything that had happened between me and his father. Instead, he simply hugged me gently as he slept. As I gently gazed and observed Leo's soft features as the latter started snoring softly, giving out rather curte purring sounds as he breathed, I couldn't help but move slightly closer to him before closing my eyes, hoping that the person by his side wouldn't cause so much trouble in the morning.

Since it was the last day before our vacation and the start of Father's long-term mission, I had snuck away from Leo's grasp while the latter was still sleeping and immediately ran back towards my house, lest the other teenager manage to wake up while I was still in the middle of running away.
