Chapter 273: Procrastination

Leo landed on the bed after jumping all the way from the entrance of the bedroom. He then gestured for me to come over as well, patting on the empty space next to him within the bed. However, to his disappointment, I didn't walk over and cuddle him like I usually would. Instead, I simply made an awkward smile before speaking in a rather coaxing tone, "Sorry. I'm heading over to the master bedroom to sleep tonight."

Leo's mood immediately dropped, which could be seen when he immediately harrumphed and folded his arms, giving me the cold treatment. Although it was obvious that he was dissatisfied, I was quite relieved that Leo did not force me to go his way, like previous times. I gave Leo an appreciative smile, seeing that I got his 'approval' and left, closing the bedroom door behind me. It seemed that since Leo knew my father was going to leave soon, he wouldn't be too forceful with me, unlike other times where he literally forced me onto the bed with him without letting go.
