Being in the digital age meant that every single person in the entire school knew of what happened in the morning by the time lunch period arrived. This also meant that I would constantly receive meaningful looks wherever I go. Even when I did not deliberately look into someone’s eyes, I could still see people staring at me as I pass by the hallway, being dragged along on a wheelchair by Leo as I powerlessly endured all the attention I have suddenly gotten because of Leo’s ridiculous display earlier.

Kane, who was also heading along to the cafeteria with us, couldn’t stay silent anymore and commented, “Hey, Leo! I thought you were busy having dinner with your family on Sunday, which was why you left from my house early in the afternoon. Who would have thought you were doing this and that with your little lover instead?”

Kane gave a rather obnoxious smirk, showing off his white teeth as he conversed with Leo even when he knew I was sitting right in front of the two of them.
