PROLOGUE: The Problem
[HER POV]
"WHAT???"- I shouted.
Who would be? What the f*** is wrong with these people? Why would they question my ability to rule MY OWN EMPIRE?? This empire is the product of my own blood and sweat....
I've been devoting my whole life for this. I started with NOTHING and I did my hardest to be where I am right now and then here they are ordering me to GET A HUSBAND?? Or else they will force me to step down on my position as the CEO of MY OWN EMPIRE??
"This is the only way for you to stay on your position. You're already 28 but still SINGLE and we can't guarantee the stability of the empire on your current status. And you need an heir."- said by one of the board.
Really?! No guarantee?? Are they f***ing kidding me??
"No guarantee?? Oh really? I've been working my life for this. I AM the one who established this empire. It's my own blood and sweat. And now you're asking me that I can no longer run this empire because I am SINGLE?? Then what? You want me to have an heir??"
"Yes. You're on your vulnerable age. Your emotions can be easily swayed and it will become a big burden to the empire. We want a more reliable, matured and responsible head to run the empire."- Another one of the board. Mr. Guanzou.
This man is the one who always opposed me. If I know he wants my position. It's my empire. But I won't let any rats ruin everything what I've done for this empire. Specially this rat.
"Really? It's only been 5 years since the LITTLE COMPANY becomes MULTI-BILLION EMPIRE and it's because of me and my trusted employees. In that 8 years, did MY empire experience MAJOR problems? Did MY Empire nearly face its downfall?? Did MY empire losses big amount of money that causes for us to seek and borrow money to another empire?? Did it?. . . No, right? Because this empire is well manage. But FINE then, I'll marry someone if that is what you want. Give me 5 months."- I said and stand up in my seat and walk to the door but before I could reach the doorknob I stopped and face them.
"I won't let ANY RATS satisfied for my lost. This empire is MINE."- I said dangerously and stormed outside and walk straight to my office.
How could they?? This empire is mine. 5 years after I established this company it become already a multi-billion empire. This is my life. I won't let them take my everything. They will taste my wrath for making me mad.
My name is ANGEL or GEE. It's just my nickname. My whole name is a secret but by the end of this story my true name will be unveiled.
I own the E.M.PIRE. Why E.M.PIRE? that's for me to know and for you to find out. It's a big secret for now. But here's a hint. E.M. comes from my real name and PIRE from the empire word, of course. I'm 28 years old. SINGLE. Not ready to mingle. But because of that stupid meeting my life will be twisted. Now I need to find a husband or else my position will at stake.
Damn them. Damn him. I know he's the one who proposed the idea of me needing a husband to run the empire. He will pay for this. Trying to rob me huh? Tsk. In his dream!
I stood up from my seat and walk through the door. I need to calm myself. My nerves had been shaking with anger. I need to calm myself to think. I need the whole gang.
"Anne. Cancel all my appointments for today. Reappoint all of it."- I coldly said without looking at her. She's my secretary since I established my company and until now that it's already an empire she's still here. I can say she's one of my trusted employees.
"Yes, my lady."- She said and bows down her head as a respect. I glared at her but she just smiled. I shook my head and walk away. I hate her calling me my lady. For me she's not just a secretary. She's a friend. One of my trusted friends. I let her do the works while I'm on leave or gone for a few days.
LORRAINE ANNE VALDEZ. 29 years old. ENGAGE. She's kind but a little naughty. She'd been my secretary for years so I trusted her the most.

About this 2nd story naman. Actually, I should say na 2nd published story sya. Ang totoo nyan. Nauna ko ng naisulat ang story na ito before pa man ang Twin's Atrocity. Nakatengga lang ito sa laptop ko at nakalimutan ko na. Haha. Ngayon ko lang naisipang ipublished.
