Chapter 25: Chapter 25: Mine

The soft music coming from the radio was like a lullaby for Adrianna. Her hand was still holding onto Liam's big hand as she continued to sleep on the shot gun seat. Liam looked at Adrianna's curled up figure on the seat next to him. Her soft snore indicated that she travelled to her dreamland for quite sometime already.

Noticing her cold hand, Liam made a brief stop by the roadside. He took a blanket from the backseat and proceed to cover Adrianna's body. Lowering the temperature of the air-conditioner and then, he carefully lowered the seat so that she would be comfortable.

Adrianna stirred in her sleep and turned her body to face him. Liam chuckled softly looking at her pouted lips but she looked calm and peaceful in her sleep. His fingers moved to caress Adrianna's hair and then he leaned down to peck on her lips. She stirred again and Liam smiled before he kissed her forehead.
