Chapter 25: Heart Breaking Will (1)

That night, after the decision had been made, we do or own routines as always. My husband continued to read the content of the notebook when we are already in bed.

"Honey, don't stay up till so late again. You still have tomorrow to continue to read it." I had to warned him to not sleeping so late again like last time. "Alright, please don't worried to much of me." He says to me and give me a kiss on my forehead. I took the notebook from his hand and keep it to my side table.

He smirks at me in surrender at last. He cuddling me like always and then we sleep together.

After the discussion in the living room yesterday, I can see my husband and father keep discuss with each other more without my involvement. I am feeling down a little bit and feel lonely.

"My dear, can you please stop worrying. They need to discuss a few things, so that tonight they can do it smoothly without missing any small details. I can see that you feel a little bit lonely. So, let's do something together in the kitchen." Says Mommy taking my hand and I just nod.

"Okay, I remember that you always ask Daniel to bring back for me chocolate chip cookies in the past. I love it so much. Let's bake some cookies then. I have all the ingredient here." says mommy. "Okay, then let's start." I agreed to her.

I love baking so much, so in the past I always baked for his mother the chocolate chip cookies because it's one of her favorite cookies. I start to mix the entire ingredient and started to bake it all. The aroma of the cookies filled the entire house.

After the last mixer is in the oven, my husband and father come in the kitchen. "Owh… I have really miss this aroma so much. In the past I always love to follow you around in the kitchen to bake these chocolate chip cookies. Can I have a taste a little of it?" my husband ask me with a wide smile.

I pick some of the baked cookies and put it on a plate.

"Mommy, your cookies I already filled it in the cookies Jar and save it the kitchen cabinet. So, this is the balance of it. Let's enjoy it together." I say to them. The servants start to serve us a cup of milk coffee for each of us.

The night has come. After dinner, we've all went to the meeting room. My Father, Brother, My Husband whole family are all attend including Granpa Han. I ask him to seat next to my father.

"Father, what time will the Lawyer will show up?" my husband ask my father. "They has promised to come at 9." Father replied him.

"Then we can start with the whole truth. Before they come." my husband announce.

My husband take my hand and kiss it. "First, Feeya I need you to be prepared and promise me that you will always stay calm. You need to listen to the whole story before you make any conclusion. Okay? Can you promise me that?" my husband ask me. "I promise." I agreed with a nods.

"Are you ready my love? I know you are a strong woman, please keep calm, okay?" He ask me again. I nod to him again. "You know right, I will always be here and stay by your side." he says with a kiss on my hand.

"Father, I think you should start first." my husband say and he keep holding my hand.

"First of all, Feeya, my princess. Let father keep telling you how father and your brother always love you. Father has to apologize, for keeping this whole truth from you because we just don't want to see you getting hurt and sad. The actual truth is, we are not your biological family by blood, and your real name is "Daniella Valerie Johnson". You are the last heir-er one of the richest and influential family in Country X." my father state.

I can feel my heartbeat is now in frenzy. My tears are already brimming in my eyes. I am adopted? How can it be? So many question already started playing in my head. I can feel my husband warm hand keep caressing my hand in his. It give me a little strength to keep listening.

"Your whole family has been wipe out over night 22 years ago when you are only 5 years old. Your biological Grandpa is one of my father's best friend and a subordinate in army. Before the incident happen, your Grandparent are all afraid that the insinuator will come for your life too. So they ask my father's a favor to adopted you in secret." he continued.

"Your Grandpa knows that both me and your mother always want a baby girl. So, you Grandpa gave you to me. The whole data of your adoption are all concealed in top secret of government file for your own safety. Your Grandpa has send their family lawyer to always keep your inheritance safe and sound before you are fully aware of this." says father.

I can see how shock the news to everyone. Only my husband, father and brother stay calm. I am now in more tears.

"I don't know the whole truth of why is your family been wipe out. The investigation is still going on till now. Your Grandparent and your parent has left us with their will. They has left 4 of them, the first one is for me, second is for you, the third one is for their son-in-law and the 4th one is we still did not know to whom. The lawyer did not disclose it to me. So, now we have to wait for your family private lawyer to come and give you the document" My father says with sad voice.

"This is all the photo of you with your biological family. They love you so much, Princess." I can't hold my tears anymore. I cried so much now. When I look through the whole album, I can see how loving our family we are. My parent always had this tender love smile on their face while holding me. The album content so much memories of my whole family. My Grandparent, Parent and there's also one little boy is playing together with me there. He look like we are in the same age.

If I am the only heir, so is this little boy also been kill? Who is this boys? Why he look so familiar.

"I am really sorry for keeping all this my princess. I keep all this from your knowledge is actually to keep you safe from the insinuator. We both always love you princess even though you are not our real family by blood." says father already in tears.

All of us now in silence, only be heard now is my sniffling. "Love, please stop crying." My husband is trying to calm me down. He hand squishing my hand in his to send the message that he always by my side. I inhale a deep breath trying to calm myself.

"Father... brother... please... anyone.. can you all say this is not true.. Please help me to say that this all is just a dream... I am in my bad dream right... Love.. please tell me this... " I'm begging them to tell me this. Its just to much for me. I can't hold on my on breath. I feel my heart been stab in million time.

"Brother, say that you are my blood brother... please.. I don't even know this Daniella... " I keep on beging my brother. My brother can't his tear any longer.

He hug me and told me,"Princess, its the truth and I'm really sorry. I know the truth is hurting you, but this is the reality you have to know and accept. You can't run from the truth 'Daniella'... I will always be your brother even though we are not related by blood... We will always by your side..." I am crying in this warm hug.
