Chapter 69: The Clipper Killer [pt 1]

Compared to floor 4, floor 5 was open-air, it was a beach area in fact. To his right Ayo so a wide expanse of blue sea meeting the horizon far beyond. He wondered for a second if the sea was really as far as it seemed it was just some trick put in place by the tower principles.

Immediately he arrived, a metallic clipper like scissors plunged out of the sand below. He leaped way before the clipper could catch his legs and landed away. Not thinking about it. He darted forward materializing the wonderful tanto swords from his inventory.

He arced a slash at the monster but blocked with its metallic clipper causing the air to tremble with the vibration of their collision. Ayo was smarter though. He quickly twirled the black tanto and lodged it into the monster's exposed jaw.

Ayo was superior in speed. That was why he was able to execute such movement before the monster recovered from blocking his first strike.
