Chapter 149: One Hundred and Forty-Ninth

Well...

To an extent, anyway.

Everything was probably in the right order. They even figured out where to put the statues around in the room.

There were just two things left to figure out.

What the pool was and what those animals they were riding were.

The three of them stared down at the remaining slabs.

Most of the slabs were really just them wasting time trying and failing to do things - or so it seemed.

She hoped that's what it was.

If the solution was actually to go around putting things in the 'wrong' places over and over like shown in the tablets...

She wasn't sure what she'd do, but it wouldn't be nice or pretty.

It seemed besides putting the statues in the right places, they just needed to enter the water in the right order in the right way. And then, presumably, that would make their mounts appear.

And then...

They'd be able to ride out of the place.

Somehow.
