Chapter 126: It Escalated

Even though Alexis was hurt from his harsh words, she maintained her composure. She didn't want to say anything that made her look like a whining baby. She smiled and then calmly replied to the rude soldier, "If you already know then that's great."

She pointed at her friends and then said, "We all are very new to this so if you have any other suggestions regarding how to efficiently carry out the search, or what we should do and we shouldn't do, then please feel free to share it with us."

But when that soldier was given a chance to speak, his mouth was shut. He could not think of anything else so he cleared his throat and said, "It's pretty much what you said earlier." And then he frowned and looked to the other side because he was feeling humiliated.
