Chapter 293: Second Brother Is Here

Hong Ning hesitated for a moment before she hooked pinkies with Qiao Yue.

There were calluses on Qiao Yue's finger, but the skin on the back of his hand was fair and delicate. For some reason, it didn't feel like a boy's hand.

"You are my adopted sister from now on. You can tell me if anyone in school bullies you. I'll stand up for you." Qiao Yue smiled at Hong Ning.

Being Qiao Yue's adopted sister was equivalent to being a goddaughter of the Qiao family. Qiao Yue planned to invite Hong Ning to the family residence someday.

This girl reminded her of the girls that she had trained in KA. The organization had lost a few girls because of Andy. Jin Lu had also decided to leave C-Country and never come back.

Qiao Yue felt comfort in her heart knowing that Hong Ning could live a normal life.
