" Graa!" I held my stomach as I felt intense pain filling my body.
[ Gamers Body is in effect! ]
[ Ding! Potion Immunity has been learned! ]

I started throwing up the rotten flesh that I had consumed.
I started convulsion on the gym floor.
[ Ding! Eye skills are unlocked! ]
I couldn't even think nor see the panel as I felt the fire in my body die down.
[ Ding! Gamers mind is in effect! ]
I felt my mind becoming clearer, but it wasn't enough to stop the intense pain.
[ Ding! The host is in critical status! ]

I gasped as I felt my body feeling stronger as I observed the system panels.
I looked at my status before pouring my status points in Vitality.

I gritted my teeth as I stood on my feet with the help of my staff.
My legs felt better than before as I started walking towards the teachers lounge.
I held the key to the lock and opened it.
But just as I was about to look inside, my body twitched uncontrollably as I fell to the ground.
I gritted my teeth as I felt the infection attacking my body again.

I gritted my teeth as the attacks died down.
I reached inside to grab the contents inside the safe.
It was a golden carrot.
My mind immediately went to the rabbit.
' Right! I'm sure he has the cure!' I thought as I stood up and walked out of the lounge and began to walk towards the outside.
" Grr!" I gritted my teeth again as I felt the virus attacking again.

The attached died down again as I started rushing towards the doors.
The attacks started again as I threw myself out the doors.
" Oh my?" The rabbit exclaimed as he made his way towards me.
I held out the golden carrots as he immediately grabbed it from my hand.
" Th... the cure!" I shouted.
The rabbit immediately reached into his hat and took out a syringe, and stabbed it into my neck.
" Guu!! Huuu..." I gritted my teeth as I felt the battle inside my body before relaxing as I felt my conscious becoming more clear.
" Mm, it seems you came back in just the nick of time." The rabbit nodded.
" Usually, anyone that finds a golden carrot would be awarded a prize. Maybe next time." The rabbit spoke as he disappeared.
I held my neck as I stared intot he empty space where the rabbit previously stood.
[ Ding! Dungeon completed! Do you wish to return? ]
' Yeah...'
The world around me crashed as I returned back to the alleyway.
[ Ding! Dungeon conquered! ]
[ You have been awarded: inventory, map, and weapon upgrade ticket. ]
I sighed as I leaned against the wall.
I felt my body slowly recovering as I looked through my system.
[ Reminder! The eye shop and eye skill tree have been unlocked. ]
[ Reminder! You have one class token upgrade! ]
[ Reminder! You have 10 skill points. ]
[ Reminder....]
I waved the system off as I felt too tired and wanted to sleep.
But the sun rising in the distance reminded me that I needed to head home.
I took my staff and bag into my inventory along with my cloak, and as I touched my head, I realized I had lost my magic hat.
" Shit." I cursed as I stood up and took my bracer off and threw it into the inventory.
I walked home tired as I realized Gramps wasn't home.
I quickly took a shower and looked at my bite wounds.
My arm, collar, and right leg were bitten, leaving a few scars once they'll heal.
I grimaced as I covered them with a bandage, but just as I was about to cover it, I saw the wound slowly covering itself.
I put the bandage around my arm and wore a long sleeve shirt under uniform.
I walked to school like I didn't spend a night in a hellhole with zombies.
I walked to the station waiting for my train, which arrived a few moments later.
As I sat on the train, it felt so surreal.
Seeing people alive and well living normal lives instead of trying to survive and wondering if it'll be their last day.
I sat in silence in this crowded train, that experience in the dungeon. It has changed my mind forever.
' If it was your last day on earth, what would you do?' I wanted to ask this question to other people.
I think everyone would do the thing they are too scared to do.
Maybe.... maybe I should live my life like it's my last.
I died in my last life and knowing that I spent it with my friends and becoming a better person.
And now, now that I had another life. I got scared.
I looked around me to see everyone doing their own thing their own lives, some worrying about the future and regretting their past mistakes.
I felt the wind inside me free itself.
' It's time to let go... and to live my life like it's my last.' I smiled at the thought as the train reached its stop.
I stood up and exited the doors and walked towards school.
I breathed the fresh air, unlike the air in the dungeon.
I walked into my classroom and sat down at the back of the seat, feeling a little tired. I laid my head on the desk.
A few minutes later, I jolted awake as I felt the fear and anxiety fill my heart before dying down.
I heard my head. I remembered the nightmare in that dungeon.
I took a deep breath before relaxing in my seat.
I waited for the teachers to teach to keep my mind occupied.
' So much for letting go,' I thought inwardly.
Hours passed as school finished, and I needed something to get my mind from that dungeon.
And it was choosing a class upgrade skill.

I immediately choose a burst of speed.

There was no level attached to the new skill that saddened me as I sat on my bed.
I also upgraded my skills.

When the skill reaches level seven, it needs two skill points to level up.
I sighed. I wanted to upgrade another skill.
' Mana Manipulation...'
[ Mana Manipulation Level 1 -> 4 ]
I used the last of my skill points.
I felt the warmth again fill my body as I sat in silence.
[ Gamers Body ] [ Level 1 ]
[ Gamers mind ] [ Level 1 ]
' What's the point of the spirit status if there's Gamers mind?' I asked myself as I closed the panel.
I sat in my room in silence as I heard the door opening.
I walked out of my room and walked downstairs to see Gramps.
" You're back." I spoke as Gramps nodded.
" Did something happen?" I asked. .
" A friend of mine had an accident. I had to visit them in the hospital. Though the bastard didn't even take my advice and went back to work." Gramps grumbled as he started to microwave his favorite food.
I nodded as I sat on the couch.
" Now... let's see what's happening now." Gramps took the remote and turned the TV on.
The Tv showed a singer performing on stage.
" Nope." Gramps changed the channel.
" Nope." He changed it again.
" Nope." Again.
" Nope." And again.
" Nope." .....
" Sigh." I sighed as I watched Gramps change the channel again and again.
