Chapter 6: Moved Feelings
"Damn it!"
"What are you saying?"
The words accidentally escaped from Karin's lips, and she thought she was thinking. Quickly before the gun could blow up her tiny head, Karin grabbed the pen. "No, no! I will immediately sign this agreement," said Karin, who immediately moved her hand to form her signature there.
Seeing that Karin did Seojun's order correctly, the man lowered his gun and smiled faintly in silence. "Smart girl. Starting tomorrow afternoon, Mama, you will get the best treatment. But not here; I will send him to the United States to do treatment there. I have a house in America, and there I will hire a nurse to look after your Mama, in twenty-four hours, while you have to do your first assignment," Seojun explained.
Karin handed Seojun the agreement paper, then he lifted his head, looking at Seojun's eyes with wide eyes in disbelief. "Thank you," Karin said with a big smile. "What's my first assignment?" he asked directly.
"Stay at my house from tomorrow."
"WHAT?" Karin screamed, immediately covering her mouth with both hands because she was too scared when she saw the gun was still pointed at her even though she didn't raise it high. Moreover, Seojun's index finger was also tapping on the table. Karin swallowed her saliva; she lowered her hands that covered half of her face while looking at Seojun slowly, the corners of her lips pulled into a thin curve. "I... will do it for Mama."
"Good! Now you can get out of here." Seojun said with a straight face, and then he put the gun that was a threat weapon for Karin into his drawer before returning to focus on his work.
Karin could breathe a sigh of relief after she left Seojun's room. It's extraordinary guts to come to this place. He should have known that Seojun was a human who had no brain and heart since the incident that night. How could he dare to ask the man for help? Karin had no other choice because, after all, she loved Mama."What about the job you will get from Mr. Seojun?" Karin was a little surprised when someone suddenly spoke and made her realize that Jungho had just come out of the room next to her.
"Quite a tough job." Karin pursed her lips in annoyance. Then looked at Jungho before walking first, while Jungho followed.
"You must be happy, right? Are you relieved? You accepted the job that Mr. Seojun gave you, right?" asked Jungho, who was very curious.
Karin stopped, making Jungho almost crash into his back. It turns out they arrived in front of the elevator. Seeing Karin turning her body to face Jungho, the man's eyebrows shot up halfway.
"Yeah! You're driving me crazy because dealing with this Master of yours almost killed me!"
"Huh? What? How?" Jungho innocently asked, wanting Karin to throw her bag at Jungho's handsome face.
As soon as the elevator opened, Karin entered first, followed by Jungho, standing by her side. It was just the two of them, and there were no other passengers in this elevator. So Karin continued the suppressed emotions for a moment. "You don't know that your Master is playing with a gun. Luckily I got out of there alive otherwise, you would be the first person I've been looking for so that you can take my revenge on your Master to be shot back."
"Wow, spooky." Karin's eyes widened when she heard a joke from Jungho, who sounded relaxed.
"Scary? Not kidding! Even I thought he was a handsome psychopath who was very cruel!" said Karin, replying to Jungho's joke.
Instantly Jungho chuckled softly until the elevator door opened, they walked hand in hand. "You have to start to understand him; he does like to threaten someone into submission and submit to him if he wants something."
They both arrived at the main lobby. Karin stopped walking because she looked at Jungho, who still wanted to talk before saying goodbye from this building. "Mr. Seojun is very kind. Otherwise, he probably wouldn't want to be bothered by helping your Mama. That's a good thing to keep in mind if you think Mr. Seojun is a violent psychopath, Miss." Seojun smiled kindly with his bunny teeth. He waved his hand. When Karin turned her gaze to Jungho's gaze, it turned out that the taxi driver was waiting for Jungho in front of him.
"You can go home using the taxi I ordered, Miss. Be careful on the road, and see you tomorrow!" Jungho pointed to the taxi driver who had stood up to open the door for Karin, then when Karin looked at the man, he waved and smiled sweetly before leaving Karin in the lobby.
"Jungho, thank you!" Karin waved her hand back, then smiled sweetly. He probably wouldn't have dared to be here without Jungho's help, who was like a strength to him, vast strides Karin walked towards the taxi, while Jungho had also gotten into the elevator because he had to get back to work.

"Good afternoon, sir."
Seojun immediately glared at Jungho, who again had to call him Mr. The man entered Seojun's room after knocking on the door as usual and greeted him warmly.
"Uhm, I've already taken Miss Karin home," said Jungho, who looked nervous because of Seojun's sharp gaze at him.
"I told you, don't call me sir, or do you want me to cut your salary?" Seojun snapped.
"Ah, I forgot. I'm sorry, Seojun." Jungho patted his forehead, and he sometimes forgets because he is used to a greeting like that because Seojun is his boss and he respects him a lot.
"Where did you take him home? What did he ride home on?"
"Until the main lobby, I ordered a taxi, and you said I can't take him home by private car?"
Seojun nodded slowly, then resumed his work while responding to Jungho. "Good, because starting tomorrow, she is my girl," said Seojun with a faint smile.
"What?" chirps Jungho, who feels he is not wrong to hear Seojun say something.
"Get out. I don't want to be disturbed." Seojun ignored Jungho's curious question. He kicked the man out of his study because Seojun was in a good mood, so he didn't want someone to disturb his calm at this time.
"Okay. Good job, I'm sorry."
After Jungho left this room, Seojun leaned back in his very comfortable work chair. He stared at the ceiling of his study before moving from his chair to the refrigerator to celebrate his pleasure, and he needed a cold beer and some instant food in there.
While he was enjoying himself, Seojun's phone rang, and notification from Jimon made him forget something. He put the beer can on his desk for a moment, shifting his seat to face the computer. When he saw the contents of the email sent by Jimon, as the man said, it was not wholly a lie. But he also couldn't believe it if he hadn't investigated himself.
His finger tapped on the table, indicating that Seojun was deep in thought. He didn't want this problem to drag on. Events in the past made Seojun more careful. Without wanting to waste any more time, Seojun immediately contacted Jungho.
"Prepare troops to watch me from afar. You come with them in another car, and I will have an event that requires using my private car." After saying that, Seojun immediately hung up the phone without letting Jungho ask many questions.
While in the next room, Jungho felt strange. He didn't have time to say a word or ask where he was going because, as far as Jungho knew, there was no outside schedule that Seojun had to meet for now.
"What's this again? There's no way Seojun would want to fight, right?" Jungho muttered, whose mind sometimes went insane because he assumed to see his Master's strange behavior.

"Mama!" Karin arrived at her apartment with a cheerful face. He brought some cakes that he bought from a bakery nearby. Karin saw Mama was in the room. She went straight to the kitchen to put these cakes on a plate and brought them to the living room before inviting Mama out of the room and joining her.
Since she had agreed to Seojun's terms, Karin decided not to work today. He contacted his boss, who asked for permission to take a day off today. It feels like Karin wants to spend time with Mama. And also, Mama must know that she will go far to treat her healing. Even though it's hard to let Mama go, Karin wants the best, then sees Mama as happy as ever.
"Mom, let's help Karin get into the wheelchair. We will talk and spend time together because Karin has finally found a better job. Karin has also managed to find a way out for Mama's recovery," said Karin, who sounded very enthusiastic when she told the story, he then helped Mama, who slowly moved to sit in a wheelchair.
When Mama was in her wheelchair, Karin pushed her gently out of the room and stopped in the living room. He sat on the couch next to Mama and turned on the television to make it more lively. "Mom, want some cake? Let's go!" Karin enthusiastically took one of the various shaped cakes and fed it into Mama's mouth.
"There's something Karin has to say to Mama; today is her work permit because Karin wants to talk to Mama about many things. It's okay if Mama stays quiet, but Mama has to listen carefully to Karin's words, okay?"
Karin went to the Kim Group company earlier. There Karin met the CEO and his assistant. At first, Karin didn't dare to see the CEO, but this solution came from his assistant. Karin wanted to go and meet their CEO.
Then, Karin gets a job offer, they see that Karin always gets a scholarship during school, and they know Karin's abilities even though it's been a long time since Kim Group's CEO is very kind Ma. They offer Karin a high position and facilities to live in Kim's home area Group. When you work later, what you need about work can be faster because the employees who have important positions have to live in the Kim Group area. Then the CEO said he also wanted to heal Mama pay for Mama's treatment to recover. Mom, will you?" Karin told a long story. She looked at her mother intently.
There was a lie that Karin had deliberately covered up. He couldn't tell Mama the truth. 'I'm sorry, Mom, I had to make this upon you so you wouldn't worry about me. But I can't help it, I can't heal you, and I can't make you happy if our situation is still like this. I want to change my life like it used to be when Papa was with us,' Karin thought.
Mama didn't answer, she just stared blankly ahead, but her eyes filled with tears which indicated the movement of Mama's feelings when she heard all of Karin's words. It felt like Mama listened to Karin's words well.
"Later, Mama will get treatment abroad. Is it okay if we separate for a while, Ma? Karin promised to meet Mama when Karin was already rich. Karin's CEO was very kind to help Karin because initially, this assistant CEO knew Karin's condition after Karin told her, Ma. Please, Ma, for once, Mama wants to go for treatment. Karin wants to see Mama get better. Karin wants to live side by side with Mama without feeling sick seeing Mama like this. Tell Mama that she also wants our life to return to the way it used to be. So let Karin fight, Ma. Karin loves Mama very much, and Karin doesn't want to lose Mama like Karin lost Papa." Then Karin rushed to hug her mother, her defenses collapsing as her voice started to sound hoarse.
It felt like Karin's words not only broke down her defenses but also broke down her mother's defenses, who suddenly returned Karin's hug.
