Chapter 217: He lied to us

Neo and Wenz were in a weird situation right now, everyone strangely gazed at them and put up their guard since Lux was clearly hostile towards the two.

"There's no need to be angry at us, don't you think so?" Said Neo, and Lux slowly lowered the Divine Sword in his hand.

"Explain. What are you doing here? Or… What do you want from me?" As he asked this, Neo pondered for a while before deciding on a fitting answer.

"We saw you fighting in the tournament and recognized you as…" He was about to say 'as one of us', but eventually decided against it, seeing how everyone was now looking at Lux.

"Let's talk a bit further away." Lux and the two of them distanced himself from the group, Khione following after them.

"What was that?"

"How am I supposed to know? Just ask Lux after."

Rowan asked his brother, but Bowan didn't want to entertain him this time; mostly because he was also stumped for an answer.
