In a dark room, there was only one light source and that was from the holographic screen projected. The holographic projection showed different places in training site G. From the first phase to the last phase, everything was being watched.
After an hour and thirty minutes passed since the begining of the drill, the alarm in the surveillance room sounded all over. one of the holographic projection at the left side,which was used to maintain all the training sites' mechanism as well as the energy supply units and another energy reader for reading a type of energy.
"Colonel! We read an unknown energy corrupting our reactors in the training site. It is invading fast and it is incapable of control!" The Corporal in-charge reported to the Colonel who controlled the security department as he stared fearfully at the reader.
"Give me specifics! What's the reactor unit number and TTR point?" The Colonel ordered as he sipped on coffee. He was dressed in grey uniform withe decorations of achievements on it. This was the standard uniform for the armed forces of the human federation.
"Unit G5981, TTR point #072-G-650-F-029#, Sir!" The colonel reported imediately as ordered. Cold sweat trickled down his face from his forehead and hair. His murky eyes were not usual as he looked at his screen in horror.
"Where is the corruption located? I need feedback and footages from the angle of corruption. We must Identify it immediately or else!" The Colonel was felling tge pressure of the situation little by little. His eyes were focused on the projection without blinking.
"Location, Training site G! Phase 2, The heat zone! Bringing in feedbacks from footages!" What the Colonell and the others in the surveillance room saw next on the screen made them stare in horror. What was that thing doing, or that person?
"Ohh Jesus! This is crazy! Call the head trainer ASAP!"
Back at training site G phase 2, the heat zone, Adam was forcing his way out of the heat zone. He didn't pay attention to the light emanating drom his being as he didn't care. He was going solo for this to the end and his fatigue was already at ninety-nine percent.
"Last one! I'm a S-O-L-O! urgh!" With his last energy, he pushed himself out and finally passed the second phase. He was void of energy and his stamina was all-time low. His fatigue level was now a complete hundred percent.
<User has passed the second phase>
<Warning! User's energy is low>
<Warning! User has used up his stamina>
<Warning! User has accumulated 100% fatigue>
<User would fall unconscious if no potion is taken>
<...5...4...3...2...1...>
<User has been pushed into dormant state>
Adam's fatigue was higher than what was considered normal for humans. He couldn't even kneel properly talking less than standing. The physical and psycological burden weighing him down made him pass out without resistance.
Other Cadets reached the second phase about an hour after Adam finished. They would feel the same burden, but lesser than Adam's as the heat zone would be focusing its pressure and energy on everybody in it. It just so happen that Adam was the generous one who unintentionally weakened the reactor output for the heat zone by corrupting it.
"Ugh! Argh!"
Adam groaned as he regained conciousness. He had only been asleep for thirty minutes, but he was able to regain his energy and stamina to maximum level. Now it was time to begin the third phase of the training. Naturally, this training was designed to perform many tasks at hand. But it wasn't a test to be completed. No Cadet has made it through the heat zone. Even with special awakened abilities, it was still impossible. Now, Adam had broken a record that had never existed from the start of mankind's evolution.
"Well, the system tasked me to finishing the mission. Itis only possiblefor somebody to go through this test once in his life. I might need to pull some strings if I want this place for training." After carefully thinking about his future actions, Adam started with phase three.
Phase three was the phase Adam had beenlooking forward to. The first phase was test of agility and perception, while the second phase was a test ofwill power and strength. But what would be the theme of the third phase? Only by one going through would one know.
At the surveillance room, the Colonel stared at the holographic projection like a madman. He cpuldn't accept the fact that a Cadet managed to cross the second phase alone without the other Cadets.
"A...young child...barely sixteen managed to cross the...second phase!...How? Now he's in the third phase. sighs! Corporal, contact the training operation team to lock on that Cadet on their focus target. Increase the intensity of the third and last phase to maximum! I want to know...if you have any connection with him...Kid!"
The Colonel gave his orders before retreating out of the surveillance room for some fresh air. Adam had reached the mountain range for the third phase. His first twenty minutescrossing it was smooth, but he always felt ominous whenever and he took a step forward. Someone wouldsay he had very keen senses, but in reality, Adam trusted his instinct more than his senses.
After waiting for a while, Airdrops landed and Droids, built to look, think and function like savage beasts rose. Portals opened up to enable othe droids, like the humanoid type droids equipped with hand machine guns, turrets, automatic needle rifles, and rail guns. And their body parts made and assembled to look like they were humans in power amours. It was really interesting.
"Took them a while to initiate uh! Let's see what they got for me as a welcome gift into the third phase. Seems like they went with the 'Cappuccino Effekt' this time. Fell my Wrath you fuckers!"
Adam's inner demon was excited by the thrills this battle would cause, and was ready to fight. But he couldn't fight since he only had control ove Adam's emotions, which was already enough to boost his confidence.

"I'm an attack type fighter. I don't focus on defence. Though the defence of the Sai is though enough to remain unscathed, I'm still prone to unexpected suprise attack. During defence, my vision and perception is limited to my sorrundings. I'll buy the Karinn dagger. Offensive power is fair enough, and its damage power is pretty high. Alsomobile forswift and unpredictible attacks. It's also a double knife like the Sai."
<Do you want to purchase the Karinn>
<Yes><No>
<Yes>
<Karinn has been acquired by user>

<User has equiped weapon: Karinn>
Adam, though not good at most type of appraisals and selections, knew how to choose a suitable weapon for himself. He had played the part of an attack fighter ever since his duel with Rhian, the Crimson lady.
Adam had anticipated the moves of every enemy droids around him, coupled with his perception, it was going to be a piece of cake to handle all of this.
Vrrrin! Vrrrin!...
The beast type droids attacked almost same time, leaping and running like savages towards Adam. Now that the game had been set, would Adam let these scraps win in this phase?
