Chapter 26: Loving family

After a while, the taxi arrived in front of his building in the outskirts of the city. After paying the driver, Siddharth got down. However, he didn't enter the building but stayed still for a while as he glanced up at the darkening sky, his gaze vacant. 

Phew!

After a few moments, he heaved a deep breath, clenched and unclenched his fists. This seemed to have a relaxing effect on him as his stiff posture became relaxed.

He then glanced at his smartphone. Seeing the time nearing 7 P.M., he muttered, "It's been over 11 hours since I 'slept' in the cultivation world. Seeing I haven't woken up, Victoria and Grace must be freaking out by now."

He then rubbed his forehead, and frowned, 'Juggling between the two worlds is going to be a hassle. I need to find a way to balance this properly before any problem arises from this.'
