Chapter 10: The Fight

Matilda's POV:

I tugged at his neck and kissed him. "I love you, Gray."

He became even more excited. The erection between his legs rubbed against my body. His voice became hoarse and charming. "I love you too. I will always be with you."

Gray's words made me feel even guiltier. He was so good to me, but I hesitated. He wouldn't follow me to the Valet Pack. Although I was furious at my father's decision, I couldn't just watch the Valet Pack destroy the pack my mother had protected with her life if I didn't go.

"I'm sorry, Gray... I... I need to talk to my father."

Perhaps I could discuss it with the Valet Pack. I might be able to negotiate so that I only joined them for a few years or come back a few times a year or something.
