Vol 1: Ch 10 - Vin, Xue, and Rei in the same place
After Xue left, Vin was left dumbfounded of what just happened and very surprised by Xue's boldness. He still feels the body and lips of Xue's and still not recovered from it because he still feels it. He almost lost control of himself and almost blow his cover from pretending to be asleep but he needs to do so because both Rei and Xue are important to him. Well, he still didn't believed of what just happened and what just he witnesses because he really taught that Xue is having the same personality as Rei but he was wrong, really wrong. Vin is still lying on his bed and in a dazed but then stops when his phone vibrates. He then got it from his pocket and unlocks his phone. He notices that the phone number is not registered from his contact lists but still opens it then read the message he just receives because he knows who is it.
Content of the Message he just receives
"Ah Vin, sorry for my late reply. This is Rei, my other phone number can't send messages anymore so I use this number in order to reply to your message I received a while ago. Yes, I'm okay with 4 pm. C Snack-bar and Coffee Shop right, in front of C Azure Residences, right? Okay, I will look for it since I'm at the lobby of C Azure Residences when you happened to send me your message. Well, I already left since I forgot something so I need to get it because I still have two hours left before our meeting time and I'm going to eat my lunch before I forgot it again, ha, ha. See you and we will meet at exactly 4 pm, Vin."
"Rei" Called her name lovingly and then searching the message that sent by Xue but well she already deleted it just to be safe and she even deleted it in the sent message for assurance that she won't get caught by him.
"Xue, is this really who you are?" then got up without changing and follow where Xue's going, he never realized that he still has plenty of time before 4 pm, and if he left 1 hour before 4, there's a big chance that he will meet Rei in front of his unit since Rei was putting something to Xue's unit during that time.
Xue arrives at C Snack-bar and Coffee Shop without feeling shame at all.
"Reservation for Mr. Vin" she said it confidently.
"Yes Ma'am but for now we still accept any guests and customers since Mr. Vin's booking starts at 4 pm."
"It's alright and I know" of course she knows of it since she's the one booking the entire shop as a function hall and reserve for Vin. Then instruct the staff right away "15 minutes before 4 pm, please let the customer leave and tell your Manager that no worries because I will be the one paying the charges and their bills."
"Yes, Ma'am" the staff just agreed and failed to recognized her and most of all failed to notice her smell.
After instructing the staff, Xue seated at the corner and waiting for the time to come for their to meet whoever he or she is. Meanwhile, Vin arrived and ask the same staff who just assist Xue a while ago.
"Is there a reservation for Ms. Meng?"
"No, Sir."
"How about Ms. Xue?"
"No, Sir"
"Ms. Din?"
"No, Sir."
"Ms. Rei?"
"No, Sir."
'What name she reserves that she can lure Rei without feeling suspicious at all?' then tried using his family name first thought he quite anxious about it.
"How about the reservation for Mr. Ro?"
"No, Sir"
"Mr. Vin?" asks it doubtfully.
"Yes, Sir and we have a reservation for Mr. Vin at exactly 4 pm. Well, O]one of the lady guest is already here."
After he knows that his name is the name used for the reservation, he feels slightly happy since Rei didn't decline after knowing the reservation name and most of all he didn't ask who is the lady guest since he already knows who is it and only ask where she seated.
'It must be Xue' "Where is she?"
The staff pointing where the lady is and again the staff failed to recognize him, Vin followed where the staff pointing at but he didn't approach where Xue seated instead he seated near where she seats in order to observe and eavesdrop on what's their conversation would be. He observes the lady well.
Xue didn't notice Vin at all when she called one of the staff and ordered sweets and drinks. By doing that, Vin wonders what's the real identity of her and her background since she did it normally. They waited for almost two hours just by doing nothing except for seating and wasting the time.
Thirty minutes before 4 pm, Rei already standing outside the premises and just waiting for 4 pm to come because she got informed through the message that she can only get inside the premises at exactly 4 pm, well she just arrived from Xue's Unit hence she's putting something outside the door of her unit, so that's the reason she arrives 30 minutes earlier than the appointed time. Vin and Xue didn't notice that Rei already outside of the shop after all they are quite far from the entrance.
15 minutes after, all the customers and guests get instructs by the management to leave except for a guest of Mr. Vin.
Vin got confused about why did the management's acting like that meanwhile Rei have an idea of what's the situation right now but then oppose herself because from what she knows Vin and her don't know each other at all.
'It must be Xue's doing since she's capable doing of this, but wait she doesn't know Vin personally, right? I mean she knows him but they're not close enough because Xue doesn't like him, right?' Rei try to convince herself but she's now suspicious yet trying to oppose herself because she trust her best friend.
At exactly 4 pm, all the customers already left, the management put a sign close, and inside the shop are Xue and Vin. Rei got confuse for a moment if she's going in or not but then tried since she got informed to get in at exactly 4 pm. She approached the entrance door but then suddenly the male staff is going to stop her but then Rei got him first and ask directly.
"Uhm, is their reservation name for Mr. Vin at exactly 4 pm?"
The male staff that's planning to stop her suddenly got embarrassed but composed himself then calmly replied to her.
"Yes, Ma'am. Mr. Vin and the other guest is already here and now they are waiting inside."
'Mr. Vin and the other guest?' but didn't ask who is the other guest.
"Where?"
"Follow me, Ma'am"
"Okay"
