Chapter 21: Call me hubby
Rynet's point of view
I woke up feeling dizzy and weak. I felt my body very tired like a truck landed on top of me. Getting up from bed was difficult. If it's not the soreness of the part in between my thighs, l wouldnt have remembered what l did last night. Sorry what we did.
Keron possessed me like a wild cat in its mating season. He made sweet love to me. Like am the only woman he had ever slept with. At first it was too painful. But later like he said l will enjoy it, l did.
I don't remember how many rounds were they because l was too tired. Just now when l woke up l saw another pair of bedsheets and am in clothes that l didn't wear myself. I think he did all of that. He wasn't in bed when l woke up. I felt bad about it but didn't have anything to do. May be he had some thing important to do. Assuring myself with that, l drove my tired body in the bathroom.
I washed my body and left the bathroom. I wore a black dress and went to have something to eat. I was so hungry and felt that even if l eat ten plates of food, l won't be satisfied.
I reached the kitchen and found the window open. Looking at the wall o'clock, it hit me that it was already 12:30 pm. I slept too much. My gaze landed on the dinning table where l saw a written note that says;
Goodmorning my princess.I got you breakfast eat it before it gets cold. I went out for some urgent meeting but l will come back to you before lunch. In the meantime think about me. Keron.
My felt my cheeks heat up after reading that note. My mind reminded me of how he seriously and lovingly looked at me as he too my virginity. It was the most precious time l have to cherish as memories in my life. I loved the way he purred that l have made you a woman baby.,a real one at that. That time l surrendered to him without thinking about any out come.
I once said that l will have my first time on my wedding night. My mom always said that to me too but things always happen in a different way.
The discomfort in my stomach snapped me from my thoughts. Opening the hot pot on the table, my eyes were pleased with a heavy breakfast Keron kept for me. I think he ordered it in the morning because l don't see any utensils that were used by him to cook. It was a sandwich made from chappat and meat. I allowed my self to concentrate on eating. I got milk from the fridge and poured it in a glass because l don't drink tea in the mornings. But is it still morning this time?
After eating and clearing the table, l went and sat in the leaving room. I switch on the TV. I didn't sit too long when l heard the door slung from outward. I looked up to see Monica dressed in a pink blouse and a min denim skirt. She looks good in everything she put on.
You... She blurted while coming near me. Where is your phone l thought that something bad happened but you are here leisurely watching movies. She continued. My phoneeee.. Oh God where is it?? I remember last nite... Ah it's here. Oh sorry it's in silent. I saw it in the sofa where l sat last night.
Why is it in silent? She demanded. I was watching a movie last night and l didn't want its sound to distract me so l put it in silent. I lied. But the truth is l don't remember putting it into silent mode. Could it be Keron? But when? I asked myself inwardly.
Okay it was in silent but are you telling me that since morning you haven't touched your phone. She questioned me. I just woke up not too long ago. It's after you asked me that l remembered the phone. Sorry sweet heart. I said while l giving her a hug.
Woking up this late, don't you have work to do. Monica asked again. I felt guilt inside my heart. Mon is my best friend. She has been there for me whenever l needed help, comfort or money even. She has never complained about anything. But am keeping thing from her. Am a horrible friend.she is clueless about me and Keron. She will kill me if she happen to know by herself. Uhu!!!! l will not let her be mad at me.
Holding her arms into mine, we both sat on the sofa. I want to tell you something Mon. Am sorry that l didn't share it with you. Don't scare me Rynet just say what you have to say. Last night l.... Cutie...... Before l tell her what l was going to say, I heard Keron calling out.
Before l stood up, Moni had already did. Her jaw dropped. I wanted to laugh but the Sametime l felt more guilty.She stood in one place as if frozen there. And Keron came closer and gave me a hug. I missed you my love your okay .? He said. Am okay. Sit first l will introduce my friend to you. I outtered. Monica had a disbelief look but l also gave her my innocent one. Keron met Monica my best friend. Sorry Monica l didn't see you when l came. Hope you don't mind. Keron said. No no lts nothing but can the two of you explain what's going on here. She spoke looking at us.
Well we.... What was l supposed to say. What are we now. Even though Keron said l give him a chance, l still find it difficult to call him my boy friend. Okay since you are Rynet's best friend, I think you deserve to know that we are together now. Keron spatted.
What! Monica exclaimated as her eyes move from me to Keron and vise verce. We need to talk Rynet later she hissed. Okay l responded.
Mr Keron Underwood are you are serious with my friend. I just want to know what's your aim in approaching her. Do you love her? Monica inquired in one breathe.
Keron looked at her and smiled as he said l don't have any aim other than loving her. And yes l love her so much. I felt that l flushed red.
You better treat her well or else you have me to answer too. I don't care whether you are famous or rich but if you make her cry, l will not let you go easily. Monica spoke with a lot of seriousness. I wanted to laugh.
Oh such a good friend Rynet has but worry not l will try to make her happy. Replied Keron. You better keep your words Monica said she walked towards the kitchen. I was now alone with Keron. I looked at his dazzling smile that is good enough to make me go weak. So how is my Rynet doing Keron asked me. Am fine was the reply l gave my head down l dare not look into his eyes.
Did you have a good sleep? When l left you were still in dreamland. I didn't want to disturb you. He continued smiling. Yeah l had a good one that l just woke up not too long. I replied to him as l went and sit in the sofa.
Monica came back and said: l should take my leave now. I only came to check on you Rynet because you weren't answering my calls since yesterday evening I was scared to death. Thank God you are safe. She grabbed her bag which had placed on the table earlier. Bye guys she said as she walked to the door. I will be right back Keron.l blurted as l existed the house. I caught up with Monica.
Am sorry dear that you got to know about us this way but trust me l was going to tell you any time soon. I told as l hold her hand in mins. GuMonica. It's okay Rynet l just don't know what to say but we are going to get time so that we talk about it. Now am going some where. OKay dear!
Okay l got it l replied her. Take care love and call me if you need anything. She spoke Yeah sure l will. Be safe on the roads. I told. Okay love l will go now. She entered her car and speeded off.
I think she had some thing urgent to do. I went back to the house and found Keron seated on the sofa scrolling his phone. Thanks for the breakfast it was good l enjoyed it. I said. No problem Rynet. Did you eat lunch! Not yet l have just woke up, and l remember telling you earlier. I purred.
She is a good friend. She indeed care about you. Keron murmured. Keron.. I called. Dont call me that.he said. Seeing my confused look, he said call me hubby.:
