Chapter 78: Untitled

Su Ye strode into the Criminal Investigation Unit alongside the rest of the team. The others dispersed towards their positions while Su Ye walked towards the counter.

When he got there, he stopped in front of a young man seated behind the desk. 

When the other party saw him, he immediately saluted, "Captain."

Su Ye asked, "Have you done as I asked?"

The man showed an expression of regret as he nodded. "Yes. I deployed men immediately you ordered. But…"

"What happened?"

"They checked all around the airport and trains. They also placed checkpoints on every road leading to the suburbs. But, they were unable to find them."

Su Ye's brows knitted for a moment as he listened. Afterward, he nodded and said, "It's okay. You've done your best."

Then, he turned around. He walked towards his department. As he walked, he considered the options.
