Chapter 95: Desserts

Tang Wan shut the door of her apartment after entering with the little cat still in her arms. She then changed her shoes into more comfy slippers and proceeded to walk inside.

She placed the pastry bag on the table before settling on the sofa. The cat was lying on her lap. She lifted its tail in her hand to look at it more closely. It seemed to have felt pain as she did so for it whimpered lightly.

Its eyes were misty and it seemed very uncomfortable. Tang Wan felt sorry for it as she watched its mannerisms. She carefully placed its tail back in its original position to ease the pain.

Then, she rested the cat itself on the couch. The moment it landed in the furry and comfy leather chair, it immediately burrowed into it. It seemed to find solace in doing so.

Tang Wan reached out to pat its head lightly upon seeing this. It looked up at her when she did this. A moment later, it lowered its head back and continued to mind its business.
