James woke up after a few hours of me infusion my mana into his body. He was dazed and glanced around the room with wide eyes, even checking me out like he had never seen me before.
Well, I would not blame him though. Anyone who had been in coma for weeks was sure to be confused the minute they wake up from their slumber.
He was so confused that the way he looked around was beginning to be funny to me but I managed to hold the laughter in. I patted his shoulder and he shuddered, moving away from me.
"Where am I?" he asked, finally letting words out of his mouth.
"You're in the hospital, James."
James eyes scanned the room again, "Hospital?" he muttered in disbelief of the answer I had given him.
I gradually put my hand over his shoulder, this time, to make join he doesn't push himself away.
"Yes, James. You're in the hospital and you have been here for a while now."
"Huh?" he said, gaping at me. "Why? What happened to me?"
