This thing out all potential awesome Costell could be great but why goodness the Walter there’s so many typos so many things it’s hard to decipher and you can barely read it. It’s bad it is bad. People got names out like such as milk. Goddamn grandmother’s name is milk I don’t know what the offer was doing. He was smoking some good stuff. There’s a whole bunch of bad grammar in here and it kind of jumps around little bit. Like I said it could be good it is not.
The story itself is good, but the translation for English is horrible. I got up to chapter 13 before I had to stop. It gets really confusing with the name changing, unclear genders, and poor grammar.
interesting plot but atrocious English. Of course the usual gender confusion (not only he-she, his-her but boy-girl) and a number of different name versions for the same characters, literal translations that no sense to the non-Chinese speaker. often one has to guess the meaning from context. it gets rather humorous though with e.g. a grandmother alternately referred to as the milkman and the sun.
although the grammar is bad, I still like the general plot of the story. it just needs more editing and proofreading before published
I really tried to understand this and read. But I cannot go on like this. It is really hard to understand this. Great story but so many grammar mistakes. 😌

honestly, it has potential to be a decent read, but the grammar and sentence structure was awful reading it and trying to decipher it gave me a headache so I gave up reading from chapter 3 I hoped the translation would have improved but it got worse.
i can't omg i'm so angry why is the mom so slow and stupid and the father is annoying and blinded by filial piety plus the words are messed up and the names change i'm so confused and frustrated sorry but i don't recommend.....

This is impossible to read. How in heaven's name is it at number 56?The idea is great, but honestly even for free (today) it is impossible to understand. You can never work out who is talking to who, or who they are referring to. Names and pronouns change continually. bah
I really liked the premise of the novel. Unfortunately the grammar was too much of a challenge, it was just too confusing to following which overshone what seemed to be a really good read. It just wasn’t worth struggling through. If this is ever edited I would definitely give it another chance.

The original writing should be good, however, the translation is going to get a 2.5. There were so many errors since the beginning of the book that sometimes you wouldn't know what book you're reading anymore. The most glaring was the names the worst being "Wang's disease" and "cephalo-" (for the name of a person; at least in the first 20 chapters), the names also often change, the pronouns are sometimes wrong, and the phrases and words are translated incorrectly, among others. It's been a year or so already but they haven't fixed it, so I don't think they will. It's such a shame since the story seems to be good.

plz find a editor n fix it's grammar. I would really like to read it coz I think d plot is really good.
The flow of the story is good. The only flaw is the grammar and construction of sentences. This story needs a serious proofreading. I'm having a headache the longer I read. haha

This book is called Rural vixenish wife raising and farming the author is Mu XiXi its on babel novel if you want to read a better version of it.
The translation is so bad that you need to know Chinese to guess what’s going on. The MC from the first episode does a complete 180 from the old persona. Usual tropes like doing CPR, selling medicinal materials are used, nothing new & the execution is not that exciting either. decided to give up after 10+ episodes as reading it is as bad as MTL
I would give it more stars if it wasn’t so hard to follow. The grammar is really bad and it makes for confusion when trying to follow the story
From what i read so far, the overall story is really interesting. The only downside of this, is on how the novel was poorly translated, it gives a lot of confusion, i'm a patience type of reader so i can read and understand it through it's sentences context but it really mess up my thinking, i just hope they would proofread the novel someday. anybody wants to know the other english t-i-t-t-l-e of this? I read this like i’m play puzzles. Spoil my mood and i don’t want to continue again. I’m feeling dizzy, honestly. i always asking myself am i in the correct track of storyline? MIxing characters and gender, and different names for suddenly. 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
I dropped this book at chapter 13. At first I wanted to keep reading because I understand translating and editing into English can be hard. However it was just too much for me. I like it until the grammar started getting in the way of reading. Good luck to those who read this novel. 🫡✌🏻
