Chapter 4: Idea 1 Switch Out Sacred Gears

What if issei wielded a different Longinus then normal and most fanfics give him? We've seen authors give him Albion and that's about it for switching his gear out but I want to ask the question of what issei could do with the others.

A Issei with Dulio's Zenith Tempest, Cao Cao's true Longinus, or even Lavinia's Absolute Demise. In most fanfics issei will either wield Draig, Albion, or not have a sacred gear; however he can, although rare, be seen wielding a different gear like Incinerate Anthem. My personal Idea was to give issei Annihilation Maker and see what Issei can do with it.

1. Annihilation Maker: Creation of the Demonic Beast. This gear works on imagination and issei is not limited when it comes to imagination.(Perv or not) Issei was able to make a completely new spell called dress break when he basically had 0 interaction with magic before that having been human about a month prior. If we were to give issei AM(Annihilation Maker) he may be able to use it better then Leo does in the novels. He could make monsters not even thought to be able to exist before. He could make a giantess with the strength of Atlas, A small dragon like scorpion with the venom of Ladon and speed of Hermes, A squirrel with the elemental abilities the similar to that of Poseidon and Zeus, a phoenix with the darkness of Nyx, etc... If issei were given a different Gear in my opinion it may either boost him or severely limit him.

2. Sephiroth Grail: Holy Grail. I believe this is one that would be more of a limit than a upgrade. The sephiroth grail is really easy to hurt yourself with and Issei, lets be honest, isn't the smartest nor the most careful human. I could see Issei trying to spam it and getting himself hurt if not crippled. I don't believe giving a hard headed, straight forward fighter like Issei the grail would do much good and may even cause more harm then I can give reason for.

3. True Longinus: Spear of Destiny. If we give issei this spear which works on ideals and will... Everything would be screwed. Issei is a straight forward man who believes in being himself and not hiding who he is. The True Longinus would be very dangerous if given to Issei mainly because of issei's unwavering will and belief in his ideals which is what the spear thrives on. I believe it would maybe be a upgrade if issei can get enough spear training; Maybe Sun Wukong could help him.

4. Telos Karma: Ultimate Karma and I honestly am not to familiar with this reality warpers abilities. I know it can warp luck and chance and may be a very powerful weapon in an already lucky perverts hands, but I am not clear on this gears abilities so I cannot make a true judgement of what would happen if Issei had obtained it.

5. Innovate Clear: Miniature Garden of the Green Tree of Innovation. The ability to create and control a pocket dimension where it can support life but only in its dimensions... I have no clue how issei would use this other than to make "Harem Paradise" so I'm not going to even try to comment on it.

7. Divine Dividing: Vanishing Dragon. 2 sentient gears with opposing abilities one to boost the user the other to divide away the enemy strength and power. If you want information on these and what issei can do with each just look up other fanfics I'm using his power with either as the base of my judgement for if he had a different Longinus.

8. Absolute Demise: The Eternal Ice princes. I honestly think this gear is better in a smarter character than Issei since it seems to be most powerful when strategy is paired with it; so I'd say it just doesn't fit with what type of person Issei is. I believe issei is better off with Draig than with the Ice Doll.

9. Incinerate Anthem: The cross Jesus was crucified on. I would love to see a good story with Issei wielding what is basically an anti-devil Longinus. This Longinus allows the creation and control of Purple Holy Flames and I think issei would be a total badass if he was given this. If we gave him this we should expect him to go full scorched earth at least once.

10. Canis Lycan: Dog God. I would very much love to see issei running around with a massive dog and a black scythe just being an absolute menace to anyone that gets in his way. If trained properly he may be able to match his canon counterpart in terms of raw potential and strength. I believe this isn't a upgrade nor would it limit him I just think he would stay about as powerful as he would be in canon.

11. Dimension Lost: Fog of Extinction: I think Issei wouldn't be able to make perfect use of this Longinus cause like with the doll it very much needs an intelligent strategy because it doesn't give the user any boosts in what issei is good at that being strength, stamina, and endurance. If it was a smarter Issei I could see it being decently powerful but it just doesn't fit what issei in canon was good at.

12. Zenith Tempest: Prison of Heavenly Thunder. This would be a big upgrade because of its ability to control the elements along with the weather around him. In Isseis hands he may just have enough will to start causing calamities when angered. I believe a Zenith Issei would be a terrifying man to face just from the sheer power issei had in canon, with a lower ranked Longinus, he would be a totally stronger Issei.
