Chapter 82: The Void

Alex, Rel'Tir, and the Dark Elf girl were dragged through an intricate maze of corridors, following the one with "cells" written above one of the passageways. 

Alex attempted to calculate and memorize the route, but after three, four, five turns, he was already lost. 

The soldiers, in contrast, did not consult any map; they simply marched forward calmly. After some time, the well-illuminated corridors, bathed in arcanite blue light, gave way to dimmer passages lit by torches. 

At the end of one corridor, a door awaited, not resembling one from a monster dungeon, but a normal wooden door with a standard lock. They knocked on it thrice, and the soldiers exchanged words with those waiting on the other side.
