Chapter 95: Reunion (1)

Alex walked the rest of the way, looking over his shoulder occasionally. The elf's response had made him a little suspicious. He could be annoyed that Alex was hiding something, or he might be plotting against him. 

In the dungeon, no one besides Rel'Tir could be trusted, and Alex let this thought sink in, ready to fight if ambushed by the soldier. However, the elf soon asked Alex to wait and opened a door. As it opened slowly, Alex's fear and wariness transformed into a gigantic smile. 

He contained his emotions as he contemplated the faces of the guild members before him. Rel'Tir, Ravi, Bogath, Ratamir, Liv, and Tal'Dore were all there, smiling as Alex entered the room. Even Ravi, with his grumpy face, had a slight smirk. He didn't seem drunk, a sight becoming somewhat familiar; it seemed he could stay away from the bottle when needed.
