Chapter 112: Observations

"That's the guy. Follow him and see what he's doing. Tell me exactly what happens," Alex said in a mutter, pressing one hand against her shoulder and turning the elf towards the enemy.

"And then I kill him?" she asked, slightly turning her head.

"No…" Alex started to say, "What the hell? Of course not. Just see what he does," he said and shoved her slightly. The woman pouted at him as if he had denied her candy, and she started walking as discreetly as possible towards the elf in the distance.

One guard was particularly interested in watching the assassin's movements, and Alex was starting to get nervous with the possibility of her not being able to complete the mission.

He rushed towards the guard and decided to improvise.

"Can we still go to the workout room?" Alex asked as the guard looked from the woman to Alex over and over, deciding whether he was going to reply to him or keep his full attention on her.
