Chapter 99: Hit the Chimeras (3)

The noise was only growing louder when, finally, a voice broke through from the top floor. 

"Silence, you wretched creatures," said a grave voice coming from the far end of the building. It seemed that whatever was on the second floor had either masqueraded or made the people on the third floor ignore the noise of the fight on the main one. 

Not long after the voice called for silence the noise slowly died down. The members of the guild exchanged glances, trying to understand what was happening, but no one could offer a solution or a hypothesis. 

Ratamir moved his hands in a closing motion, signaling them to gather close. "Let's split into two groups and climb the stairs. It's better to just ignore the second floor and go directly to the third. We'll get the Arcanite with the Amplification spell and get out of here. We can probably handle whatever is on the second floor, but it's best if we can avoid it."
