Chapter 58: Great Discovery!

As Bogath was finally ready to move, they went directly to the others. In the middle of the room, the ball of light thrown by the werewolf was still there, shining bright in the air and illuminating the whole room.

Bogath put one hand close to it as they walked,

"This is pure acanite. The creature could somehow eat and transform magic. I know some mages can do something similar, but not like this. Look closely," Bogath said, and Alex locked his gaze with the ball of light and saw inside it the bird of lightning­-- that Bogath had created inside it.

It was like the creature had transformed the magic into a new one. Impressive, Alex thought as they resumed their walk towards the wounded. Tina and Liv were already sitting scratching their heads,

"I don't want this to become a habit," Tina said with frustration, "what happened?"
