Chapter 7: Mana
I sat down on the floor at the corner of the room, I slowly closed my eyes out of the exhaustion that consumed me as the adrenaline in my bloodstream slowly lost effect, and before I realized it, I slept off.
"Master Satan, you're back, if you can't defeat him then nobody can." a demon in my dream said to me and immediately my eyes shot open grabbing the attention of the entire class, my eyes skimmed over the class, and eventually fell on Mr.Richard who was staring at me intently but I could not focus on it at the moment because my mind was filled with chaos.
'What was that dream, it felt so, no, too real' Dan asked himself,
"Now that everyone has rested" Mr. Richard started as he was looking at me, "Let's begin another lesson," he said as his face wore a smile.
"Mana" he started, "Mana is simply nature energy used to create spells and fuel abilities. After all the demons in hell escaped and started to dwell on Earth, they evolved, some getting elemental powers while others simply changed form.
There are still demons who have rare abilities such as telepathy, teleportation, and so on, after some decades, humans also evolved and ended up carrying the powerful energy known as mana. I am gonna teach you how to harness mana and reinforce it with the energy already in your bodies" he said in an attempt to raise the enthusiasm of his students and from their amazed gazes it appeared to have worked.
"If you want to harness mana you need to meditate, feel the energy of the world around you, and try your best to absorb it," he said as he saw the amazed gazes of his students."Just to show you the use of mana" Mr. Richard started, he pointed the palm of his hand towards a training dummy, "Move" he yelled and immediately the dummy flew towards the wall and broke through it, this made the students beyond inspired and line by line they all sat on the floor meditating, meanwhile as Dan was meditating,
he sensed faint energy around him, he imagined himself as a blackhole and tried to absorb the energy and surprisingly it was working, he absorbed and absorbed until he felt as though his body didn't want more and as soon as Dan stopped meditating he received a notification.

Dan was happy when he saw this, despite his body's unwillingness, he managed to absorb more mana until he felt that he was about to explode and he was happy with this outcome until he received a notification.
