Chapter 185: Ary's Mother

"You…you're alive…?" Ary muttered, his voice resembling Aryan's, as his gaze remained fixated on Shin.

The man in front of him was none other than his ancestor and his former master, Shin Inochi. His black dress and silver blade resembled exactly what was shown in the statues. He had disheveled, shining silver hair and heterochromatic eyes, with his left eye being crimson and his right eye glinting crystal blue.

"Well, I'm just a fragment of the real soul, kiddo," Shin smirked, patting Ary's head. Then, he narrowed his gaze, adding, "You seem to remember your life as my student Aryan as well, huh?"

"Yeah, I do." Ary smiled, wiping away his tears as he gazed at his master, replying, "Thanks to that fragment of mine, I've managed to retrieve a little piece of my memory as Aryan. I don't remember everything, though."
