The next morning Della, as usual, prepared to leave for school earlier than the other children. The girl walked quickly to go outside, only to find the dining table that was usually never used in the morning miraculously filled by her family members at this time.
Della tried her best to look calm when she saw her sister's presence there. Her sister, who usually spent all her time hanging out with her band members, had miraculously returned home today. "No wonder," Della whispered to herself. Under ordinary circumstances, her family would never bother to eat together, even if they had free time.
"Della, breakfast."
Without giving her a second glance, her father called out as he continued to eat his food. Della obediently approached her family. The girl smiled at everyone before sitting and waiting until someone prepared her breakfast.
"Della, what time do you get back from school?"
