Chapter 35: Chapter 35 Code Red

As the news spread, fear gripped the students and teachers alike. The authorities launched an immediate investigation, sealing off the backyard and launching a search for what so ever is responsible for the dreadful tragedy.

Jacob and Adam stood amongst the crowd of students in the hallway when Ray walked up to them.

"You guys just left the room without telling me, where did you head? And what is happening? Ray inquired.

"Hmm! You see, me and Jacob found som....." Adam's narration was interrupted by a very loud noise.

It sounded like those bell that goes off when there has been a fire outbreak.

-"This is a code red, all students return to your room and lock the door. All soldiers prepare for battle," a sergeant announced.

Immediately after he said this, the students started to run to their rooms for safety.

The school grounds, once a place of laughter and learning, were now transformed into a staging ground for an impending battle. The troops of the army gathered. There were like a formidable force, armed with an array of advanced weaponry, cars, and warships.

Under a darkened sky soldiers assembled, their armor gleaming in the dim light. Among them were soldiers with different abilities. A thousand and one men, all united and willing to die for a cause they know nothing about.

Just then Jacob sighted Sergeant Lucas, he ran up to him and inquired. "Sergeant, what is happening?"

"Oh! Jacob, it's you," the Sergeant recognized Jacob. "We are going to war against the underworld, the vampires. These two Sergeant will escort you to your room, nothing must happen to you, "Sergeant Lucas said as he instructed two other Sergeants to escort Jacob and his friends to their room.

"See you when I return," these were the last words the sergeant said before going to join the rest of the army.

Leading the charge was General, his hair as silver as the moon, and eyes that seemed to pierce the veil of reality.

A name tag was on his shoulder and it started General Arion His cape billowed behind him as he addressed the troops with a commanding voice that resonated with authority.

-"Fellow warriors! We stand at the brink of a great peril, but I assure you, we are more than capable of triumphing over this evil that seeks to consume our world!" he bellowed, his voice inspiring courage in the hearts of those who listened.

Next to him was a skilled sorceress, Lady Seraphina, her staff adorned with glowing runes that represented the elements she could bend to her will. With a wave of her hand, she conjured a shimmering barrier that enveloped the troops, offering them protection from harm.

-"Our magic and technology have been honed through countless battles, and together, we shall forge an impenetrable defense," Seraphina declared, her words carrying a sense of determination.

The troops moved into position, and a symphony of advanced machinery roared to life. Warships, majestic and imposing, floated above the ground, while fearsome mechanical beasts stood at attention, ready to be ridden into the fray. Advanced cars equipped with weapons and enchanted tires lined up, their engines rumbling, waiting for the signal to depart.

At the front of the formation stood Captain Arion He gave a nod to his team, and they began their pre-battle ritual of camaraderie, reinforcing the bonds that held them together.

As the troops prepared to leave, one of the school's leaders, a wise old sage named Master Aldric, stepped forward to offer his guidance. His staff, a relic passed down through generations, hummed with ancient magic.

"Listen well, my dear students and warriors," Master Aldric began, his voice gentle yet profound. "Remember that your strength lies not only in your weapons and abilities but also in the bonds you share with one another. Stand united, for together, you are an unstoppable force."

The troops nodded solemnly, absorbing the wisdom of their mentor. They knew the importance of unity and cooperation in the face of such darkness.

At the rear of the formation, a band of dwarven engineers worked tirelessly on their creations - massive siege weapons and clockwork automatons that would provide vital support during the battle. Their beards glinted with specks of gold and silver, a testament to their expertise.

Just as the last rays of sunlight vanished beyond the horizon, the call to move out was given. The troops marched forward, their footsteps echoing as they left the hallowed halls of the school behind.

Through enchanted forests and treacherous terrains, they journeyed, their advanced cars skimming over rough terrain with ease. Along the way, they encountered other down-worlders that sought to test their resolve. With blades and bolts, magic and might, they fended off the threats, proving their prowess.

Their warships glided through the sky, navigating the winds with skill and precision. The soldiers aboard manned the turrets, their aim true and their firepower devastating.

As they reached the outskirts of their homeland, the enemy's looming shadow became apparent. The opposing army, a horde of darkness, stretched as far as the eye could see. Vampires from different origins, types, and centuries stood under the crimson sky, waiting to clash with the light of hope.

In the face of this formidable sight, doubt began to creep into the minds of some of the school army as they whispered. "How did they know we were coming? Unless they had someone on the inside."

But General Arion, with his unwavering determination, rallied their spirits.

-"Fear not, for we are the guardians of the upper world, and our hearts are steadfast!" he proclaimed, his voice carrying across the battlefield, bolstering the morale of his troops.

-"This is your last chance to stop this battle, for we are not responsible for whatever might have happened to you students," The leader of the Vampire requested.

"We didn't come here to make negotiations, hold your thoughts to yourself," General Arion said before ordering his army. "Army attack!! "

The battle began a maelstrom of magic and advanced weaponry erupting across the field. Shields shimmered with protective spells, and volleys of arrows flew through the air. The dwarven machines unleashed their devastating payloads, causing enemy lines to falter.
