Chapter 5: Prologue: Ascension Part 1
Dante is truly a one-of-a-kind entity who once he puts his mind to something, literally can't be stopped until he reached his goal.
Right now his goal is to comprehend the elements until they reach or exceed his current cultivation!
And what better way to do that than to show up to each respective elements zone! For example, a volcano for fire, an ocean for water, a desert for Earth, and so on!
Dante also figured he could come up with a 'Heaven's Ruler Arts' for each element as well. Although he's not 100% sure what he'll do for Time, he'll probably just have to go find a blackhole somewhere or try and create a mini-black hole.
Dante didn't waste a single second after he decided his course of action and started comprehending each element. He also kept in mind to search for treasures that can change the affinity of his Qi.
He'd go to the ocean to comprehend water, then use his comprehension to fight the beasts and people nearby to further his 'Heaven's Ruler Water Arts'. Which in turn will help further his comprehension. He'd also watch how these sea creatures fought each other and how the ocean itself attacked its inhabitants in hopes of attaining enlightenment.
He'd watch and study how water interacts with the other elements and in doing so will help boost his comprehension of the other elements.
He was also on the lookout for any treasures that could change the affinity of one's Qi. These treasures were incredibly rare and weren't actually graded and tiered like other treasures.
These treasures simply allowed someone to change the nature of their Qi into something more aligned with whatever element the treasure is.
The reason they aren't graded into tiers like Mortal, Earth, Sky, Heaven, Saint, and Divine is that these are Unique Treasures formed by the Realm itself. Things like Mortal, Earth, Sky, etc. Have no meaning to a Unique Treasure such as this. They simply allow a cultivator to change the nature of their Qi. How high their affinity will be after using such a treasure is simply due to how high or low their cultivation is and their comprehension of said element.
Knowing this information, Dante made sure to keep a keen eye out for these types of treasures. Though he's sure that this will be his biggest hurdle.

Nearly 50,000 years later and Dante had finally finished gathering all of the Unique Treasures for every element!
He ended up having to create his own mini-black hole and try to artificially turn it into a unique treasure for the Time element, but for all of the others, he was able to find them naturally. Though he did have to kill a few people in order to obtain some of them.
All of these treasures looked like crystals that held their respective elements in their purest forms. They could pretty much be considered the source of each of their elements. That's why these treasures were so sought after and so rare. And also why it took Dante so damn long to find all of them!
That's not to say that comprehending the elements was easy! Though comprehending each element individually wasn't that difficult, there are a total of 11 elements and to bring his comprehension and 'Heaven's Ruler Elemental Arts' to the Peak-Divine-Tier took on average around 3,000 years per element.
That's also taking into consideration Dante's Peak Soul Cultivation which could be said to make things at least 10 times easier.
One must know that Dante is now around 95,000 years old by now. If it were any other Peak level expert in the world, they probably wouldn't have even been able to do all of this even if it took them 1 million years! They would've already died several times over by now if they wanted to do what Dante has done!
Enough about that for now! Dante has something extremely important to do! He is going to fuse all of these treasures into his Qi at the same time! If his calculations and theories are correct, this should give him what he'd call Chaos Qi. In theory, Chaos Qi would allow him to wield every time of Qi, even Time Qi!
But everything has to be exact! He has to touch each treasure with his Qi at the exact same time and start the fusion with each treasure at the exact same time while keeping the process for each treasure at the exact same fusion rate! He cant be even a fraction of a millisecond off!
Taking a deep breath and calming his mind, Dante extended 11 strands of his Qi towards the 11 Unique Treasures. He focused all of his senses, Divine Sense, and even his Soul onto each strand of Qi in order to make sure that they are going to touch the treasures at the exact same time.
His Qi slowly made its way towards the treasures before they touched and all 11 treasures lit up at the same exact time and teleported into his body as they started to fuse with his Qi.
Dante was already prepared for this so he didn't freak out, but instead started to control the fusion rate for each treasure to make sure they all stayed exactly the same.
Time went by quickly like this and Dante's Qi started to change from a clear opaque-like color to something akin to a rainbow that sometimes seemed to be moving through his body relatively fast and other times almost like it wasn't moving at all. But this was just a misconception due to the Time Qi.
Soon all 11 treasures fused with his Qi and finished at the exact same time. His Qi then started to undergo one last transformation before his Qi finally turned black but one could see specks of light in his Qi almost like galaxies.
Dante thought that looking at his Qi almost looked like he was looking at the timeline of the universe.
He held up his hand and started creating water balls, fireballs, earth balls, wind balls, wood balls, lightning balls, ice balls, light balls, dark balls, space balls, and time balls.
Dante felt like he held an entire universe in his hand.
Knowing what he had to do next, Dante spent the next few hundred years completing a 'Heaven's Ruler Chaos Arts' before moving on to his next objective!
Learning all of the professions in this world.
Honestly, Dante felt like this one would probably be the most boring yet the easiest. He's confident that he could do every recipe, blueprint, array, formation, inscription, or whatever it may be in under 10 tries and that's being generous. Forget 10 tries, it probably won't take him more than 5 tries due to his Soul Cultivation.
Not only that, but over the last almost 100,000 years, Dante's wealth was so massive that he could probably do everything 1,000 times and he still wouldn't be able to make a dent!
Also, now that he has Chaos Qi, the chances of him failing something is almost nil.
Dante went into seclusion with all of his resources and started to learn things one by one and soon 5,000 years passed.
It only took this long because Dante needed to perfect his 'Heaven's Ruler Arts' for each profession along with creating his own recipes, blueprints, designs, arrays, formations, inscriptions.
Naturally, his knowledge and experience had reached Peak-Divine-Tier for each profession as well.
All that's left for him now is to create a perfect bloodline and a perfect Physique before he decides to ascend to become a True Immortal.
And Dante has a few plans in mind for how he's going to do it. He can either try fusing every bloodline together, but from what he can tell that'll just be plain stupid!
Most lower-tier bloodlines are just a diluted version of the higher-tiered bloodlines, so why should he waste his time with the dregs?! He just needs to go straight for the big guys!
He needs a sample of every Divine, Saint, and Heaven bloodline. Why you may ask, does he need bloodlines of Saint and Heaven?
Just because a bloodline isn't Divine-tier doesn't make it shit! There are also specific traits in Saint and Heaven bloodlines that make them very useful.
Knowing that he won't be able to complete this on the first try, he needs a space to keep his test subjects. Therefore, he created a space ring, except this space ring could house living beings. He also made plenty of cages to make sure his new test subjects don't try to kill each other!
With his thoughts sorted out, Dante made his move and started flying and teleporting all over the Immortal Realm collecting everyone and everything with a Divine, Saint, and/or Heaven Bloodline.
He now has Dragons, Black Tortoises, White Tigers, Phoenixes, 9-Tailed Fox, Hydra, Leviathan, Demons, Angels, Mermaids, Gorgons, Unicorn, Griffin, and many more different types of beasts.
Naturally, these beasts weren't happy when they were suddenly taken from their home and stored in some sort of unbreakable cage.
They were even less happy when Dante started draining them of their blood, but Dante didn't care. As long as they didn't die before he finished his experiment then he didn't care. He also made sure that time dilation in this space was 1000:1. 1000 days in this space would be equal to 1 day in the outside world.
This was him being generous and being in a good mood since this was what he's been looking forward to the most. He has always been the most intrigued when it came to bloodlines in Wuxia novels! And now he'll be able to experience it for himself!
How exhilarating!!
Now onto the testing!
The key to this is about separating the disadvantages and advantages of each bloodline then fusing the advantages with one another. This is easier said than done because almost everything needs to be kept in some sort of balance. So what Dante needs to do while fusing the bloodlines is to find bloodlines that are compatible with each other, fuse the advantages while trying to essentially 'trick' them into thinking that the other bloodline is its advantage/disadvantage it needs to coexist, while in reality, no such disadvantage exists! Then just keep doing this until only 1 perfect bloodline remains!
It's a long and tedious process, but it'll all be with it if Dante can perfect a bloodline!
And like that, 10,000 years went by in this Spatial Ring while in the outside world only 10 years have gone by.
An interesting thing that Dante found out after all this time is that he can essentially stop the creatures here from aging with his Qi. Well, as long as he covers them in Qi he can basically slow down their time/aging process and make it so they have barely aged. So even though these beings have spent 10,000 years here, they have barely aged at all.
Dante has gone through tens of thousands of tests before he was finally able to figure out the perfect ratio and the perfect compatibilities for each bloodline until fusing all of them into 1 perfect bloodline.
Dante has already tested it once on a cultivator and the man went through shocking changes as his strength soared to insane heights.
Dante fought the guy and could tell that although the man was only around the 10th Realm, he was able to fight beings in the 13th Realm on even ground! And that was only after absorbing a drop of this blood! What if the man abandoned his humanity and absorbed it all? How high would his strength rise?!
Well, Dante was about to find out. Dante had created so much of this miracle bloodline that it looked like he had an entire lake filled with blood!
He didn't want any mishaps during this operation so he might've over-prepared a bit.
Dante didn't waste his time any further and jumped right into the blood lake. The first thing he did was to start draining himself of all his blood, even down to his bone marrow. He could feel himself growing weaker by the second and one Dante's body became completely dry of blood, so dry in fact that his body started to crack, he will this perfected bloodline into his bone marrow and then into his bloodstream.
His body reacted like a desert that just got rain, it started soaking up every drop of blood it could possibly find and then ran it through his body soaking his bones, muscles, organs, flesh, skin, every part of his body was being soaked in this miracle blood.
The more blood his body absorbed, the more power rippled throughout his body. Even his bone structure started to change in order to reach perfection. It was reaching a point where his body could be said to be undergoing an evolution that's going to bring him to the peak of his very existence.
Dante noticed that his potential was also expanding more and more as his body evolved which worried him a lot since he didn't want to have to start his cultivation journey over, but thankfully that didn't seem to be the case.
The blood seemed to be filling in any gaps as it essentially just expanded his vessel. For example, let's give the current potential of his body 100 points. So far, Dante was able to fill up all 100 points of his potential, but now his body's points are exceeding 100. Dante isn't sure when it'll stop increasing, but for examples purpose let's say it goes up to 500 points. Although Dante's body's potential points went up to 500, his potential is still at 100% as his new bloodline is filling in the gaps from 100 to 500 points.
This is the case for all 3 cultivation systems. His body is strengthening at a rapid pace while keeping the potential at 100%, the same goes for his Essence Gathering and Soul Cultivation.
Qi and Soul Energy are flooding into his new body as it's evolving.
After several hours did the process finally stop. Dante opened his and saw that the blood lake is almost dried up. He was dumbfounded by this revelation as it seems his body's potential indeed went under a massive evolution.
He could feel it as well. His body was rippling with untold power! He felt like he could crush 10 of his previous self before this evolution!
What the fuck was this?!
The creatures in their cages were watching this while trembling as the aura Dante was releasing now was akin to a god! They felt the urge to kneel before this supreme being!
Dante was in an extremely good mood right now so he waved his hand and erased the last 10,000 years of their memories before teleporting back out to where he found them. Who knew he'd be able to create something so good in just 10,000 years! If he knew this would happen he would've done this sooner!
The last thing he needs is a perfect Physique and he knows just the physique to have! Hehe!
