YOO-MI’s POV

I knew my face looked pale and helpless as I came out from the doctor’s office. My legs were powerless and I almost fell to the ground, luckily Josh suddenly appeared and helped me when I was about to fall.

“Yoo-Mi, what happened?” he asked worriedly. I called him from work to come here immediately in the hospital.

I shook my head sitting down on the chair in the hospital’s corridor. I covered my face with both of my hands, feeling so heartbroken and devastated to the point that I couldn’t even cry. Why do you have to punish my daughter? Not me, not Jeonghan! I asked God in my mind.

“Good morning Mommy, good morning daddy!” Honey beamed this morning, eating happily with her breakfast.

Josh who was dressed in his usual black suit ready to go for work kissed Honey on the cheek and ruffled her hair before he sat beside her on the right and I followed suit, sitting on her left.

“Why is my daughter so happy today?” I asked putting a piece of sausage in her mouth.
