Chapter 92: 092

Milo got the call from someone at the precinct the next morning that another dead body was found. The caller did well to inform him of the detective's critical condition, and gave him the name of the hospital.

"Thanks." He said while ending the call, Millie was in the kitchen making something light for breakfast, while he prepared his belongings.

"Mills!." He called out, walking into the kitchen, with a heavy face, a part of him did feel guilty for not calling for backup like Millie had scolded.

Under normal circumstances, he would have never told his sister the detective's condition, at least not at a critical time such as this one. But in this case, Millie could barely sleep last night, he could tell from her expression that she was worried.

"What is it?." Her fierce gaze hinted that she did not want him distracting her in her element.

"Another dead body turned up this morning." He let out, searching her body for any reaction.
