Chapter 9: SAVING YOU (2)

"Come here and sit." Maya said after taking the basin filled with water and Edgar's unused clean shirt.

"What is wrong? why should i sit I want to sleep, I'm sleepy." said Edgar, standing straight in front of Maya.

"Ccckkk !! sit down I said." said Maya as she pulled Edgar's hand to sit beside her.

"Maya! what's up !! and what is this? is there water? and what is this old t-shirt for?" asked Edgar, not understanding.

"Shh !! just shut up!" said Maya as she took off Edgar's shirt harshly.

"Eeiitt !! What are you doing!! do you want to rape me!" said Edgar as he grabbed his shirt from Maya's hand.

"Don't get puffed up !! who wants to rape you? I just want to clean your wound so it doesn't get infected." Maya said without seeing Edgar wet the washcloth with water and then cleaned the torn wound on Edgar's arm.

"Listen, if your wound is not cleaned quickly. You can get an infection, and if it is infected your body can turn blue and eventually die! hear what I said?" said Maya while bandaging Edgar's wound with Edgar's clean shirt and tying it slowly.

Edgar stared at Maya's face, then got up from his seat.

"I don't know what to say to you. Every time you talk to me, your words are very harsh!" said Edgar, pressing his temples.

"And now ... listen to me Miss Maya! this wound! can't make me turn blue and die! because I'm not a weak boy! you should know that!" said Edgar as he took off the cloth that was on his arm and then got up from his place and went into the room.

"How stubborn !! Let's see later!! when it is infected, just know the taste!" Maya said as she took the cloth marks on the floor after being thrown away by Edgar.

Annoyed, Maya clears up the water in the basin which is already red and the t-shirt used to clean Edgar's wound.

"I can go crazy with that stubborn man." said Maya as she cleaned her hands and then went into the room.

In the room Edgar threw himself on the bed.

"I don't know! what is his tongue made of? why every word that comes out of his mouth is never so sweet." said Edgar, looking at the wide wound without any more bandages.

Edgar tried to close his eyes to go to sleep. For some reason, this was the first time he felt restless in his sleep.

Nearly two hours, both of his eyes couldn't sleep. Cold sweat started to come out of his forehead and all over his body.

"What is wrong with me? why do I feel my body is hot and cold and my body is very weak?" asked Edgar as he got out of bed to go to the kitchen to get water.

Edgar stumbled out of the room, trembling a little. Holding his head, Edgar was still trying to get rid of the pain by walking upright to go to the kitchen.

"Oh my God, what's wrong with my body? do i have a fever? did my wound have an infection?" asked Edgar to himself, looking at the wound on his arm that had turned blue.

Still trying his best, Edgar reached for the glass on the dish rack. Edgar's eyes started to flutter as he picked it up until the glass in his hand fell off.

"PYAARRR"

The glass fell and broke. Edgar felt even more weak. Her legs felt paralyzed and they didn't have the strength to stand up anymore.

"I'm thirsty ... water, I want to drink water." said Edgar as his body began to wobble and could no longer stand up.

"BRUKKKK"

Edgar's body fell to the floor but a hand was holding Edgar's head from hitting the floor.

"This is the end of your stubborn Mr. Edgar's arrogance!" said Maya with exertion trying to support Edgar's body back to his room.

With a gasping breath, Maya put Edgar on the bed.

"Look, you are now !! high fever!" said Maya with her hand on Edgar's forehead.

"I don't have a fever, I'm just thirsty. Give me water, I'm thirsty I want a drink." said Edgar ramblingly trying to wake up from his sleep.

Maya held Edgar's chest so as not to wake up from his sleep, Maya glanced at Edgar's open, blue wound around him.

"Wait, don't move. I'll get water for you." Maya said as she got up from her seat and went to the kitchen to get a glass of water and a basin of water to compress Edgar.

"Don't go, I just want water. I'm thirsty, water ... water." said Edgar, still rambling. Edgar was still trying to wake up from his weakness.

After a while Maya had returned with a glass of water and a basin filled with water and a small towel.

"Get up, this is the water you asked for." said Maya as she helped Edgar sit down and gave the water to Edgar.

With Maya's help, Edgar drank with his eyes half closed and his hands trembling.

"Now get some rest, I'll go back to the room after compressing you." said Maya, putting the empty glass on the table and then compressing Edgar's forehead with a half-wet towel.

"do not go." said Edgar while holding Maya's hand which was on his forehead.

"I'm sleepy, I have to sleep and you too." Maya said as she got up from her seat but Edgar's hand held her firmly.

"Don't go, I say, don't you. Want to see how I die?" asked Edgar, coughing uneasily with sweat running down his forehead and skin.

"Like you said Edgar, you won't die easily from an infection in your wound." said Maya, repeating the words spoken by Edgar.

"Say whatever you want Maya, whatever makes you satisfied. The important thing is you don't leave here. You're happy to see me like this right?" said Edgar still with his eyes half closed and his mouth slightly ajar, holding back the chill that was starting to overtake him.
