Once I exit the flower shop, I look towards the balcony and see that Ryder isn't there anymore.
Good, I tell myself. Now I can go in search of souvenirs and a snack. I wasn't being truthful when Ryder asked if I was hungry.
I run across the street and stand at the corner, watching many people happily walk in and out of the stores. There are so many shops to choose from! Where should I start?
Holding the rose under my nose, I smell them again and close my eyes. The delicate aroma has me feeling nostalgic. I open my eyes and see a store that sells slippers. They make them right there, and so many designs exist.
I look up and down as I run across the street. The store window has about ten or so slippers. Furry ones, plain ones. Some are covered in pearls, while others have flowers on them. The slippers that stand out to me have different colored rhinestones.
I walk in wanting a pair of those!
