Chapter 106: Tian Ming.

After cleaning themselves off while avoiding the contamination of the rivers with red juices, Tian Xing then started washing their clothes as best as they could. Fortunately, since Ying Yue's focus was on the Dao of Wan Shi Tong, she was able to find a nearby family of plants with properties similar to soap. This is the specialty of becoming a jack of all trades practitioner: they can deduce the properties of something new based on their existing knowledge, as their minds are capable of recognizing similar patterns. Because of this, they are not completely blind to basic survival knowledge in a new world with unfamiliar elements, despite the many differences from their previous variants of life.

Even so, Ying Yue's Dao of Wan Shi Tong almost burned their clothes off, mistaking the very similar plants with two completely different properties: soap and black powder. This illustrates that no one can truly possess omniscience, as the world itself is created by the true Dao, which is limitless in its creativity. Thankfully, their clothes from the previous world are somewhat resistant due to the hexagonal pattern of graphene, which was developed by his wife and one of Ying Yue's variants, Jaina.

However, even though the clothes were able to withstand the rigors of cultivation up to trillions of marks, they could still be damaged by seemingly random tiny plants in this new world, where the level of intensity is much higher. This realization made Tian Xing more humble, understanding that beyond the sky, there is always a higher sky that they are not yet able to touch or perceive due to its distance from their perspective.

So, after washing their clothes with the right plants that have soap-like properties this time, they began cleaning the area from their recent activities as best as they could. Since they did not want to pollute the waterways that connected to distant lands, and given that they did not currently have high enough cultivation to simply wave their hands and erase the evidence of their fun, it was better for them to be a bit more careful to avoid embarrassing themselves.

Wearing the damp clothes they couldn't dry due to their lack of high cultivation, Tian Xing said to Ying Yue, who was also wearing damp clothes and clearly showing the pink pomegranate stem, "Let's go, Ying Yue. Come with me. Master has calculated the location of nearby caves where we can sleep and cultivate, as they contain a large amount of Spiritual Veins."

Adjusting her damp clothes, which were uncomfortable to wear, and noticing that her master's gaze kept returning to her pink pomegranate stem, Ying Yue decided to leave her clothes as they were, slightly arching her back to make the fruit stem more visible. After listening to her master's words, she nodded and moved closer to wrap her body around his hands. As they walked, she occasionally picked up peculiar leaves along the way, ate them to guess their properties, and added the information to her extensive knowledge of the Wan Shi Tong Dao.

With her master's intuition, which was as vast as a mountain due to his sophisticated Spirit Awakening technique, she didn't need to worry about being poisoned or injured. Indeed, whenever she reached for a particular plant, her master would shake his head, indicating that it was dangerous. Just as her Dao had special properties that granted permanent abilities when moving to a different world, her master's Dao, the Tian Ming Dao or Predetermination Dao, also had unique qualities. One such uniqueness of her master's Dao is its sharp intuition, which enables a Tian Ming practitioner to make the right decisions.

Suddenly stopping in their tracks, Ying Yue looked at her master with puzzlement. But after seeing his frown and his eyes looking up into the heavens, she guessed it was likely because his daughter or wife's safety was in jeopardy. Breaking free from her master's hand, Ying Yue stepped aside, not wanting to disturb his actions. After a few seconds of observing them communicating through karma, she saw her master snort angrily, pick up a nearby branch, and wave it in the air, creating Butterfly Echoes.

Given their low cultivation and martial arts that couldn't directly affect the sovereigns of the high heavens, Ying Yue suspected her master might use a borrowed knife with the same prowess as the enemy he was confronting. As expected, her master's branch-waving was meticulous, almost like painting in the air. However, due to their lack of cultivation, the display wasn't impressive, and to an onlooker, it might have seemed like the random gestures of a madman.

Nevertheless, Ying Yue understood that this was not the case. Within just a minute of her master's drawing, she saw a multitude of falling stars in the sky above, their presence so overwhelming that it sent shivers down her spine. Not just one or two, but thousands upon thousands of these stars filled the sky, each with a majesty that compelled her to kneel in fear. Realizing that a major conflict was likely occurring in the heavens above, she remained silent and buried the scene deep in her mind.

Especially knowing that, as the second-lowest ant, her master could likely only move one or two specks of dust into specific places to create a chain of events, Ying Yue felt even more awe, respect, and admiration for him than fear of the stars. With just his low cultivation, her master could manipulate these gods to their doom with just a few subtle nudges here and there, using borrowed knives from beings who had no inkling they were being used. After watching her master for what seemed like minutes but stretched into an hour, likely dealing with the aftermath and subsequent effects, Ying Yue finally saw her master extend his hand.

"Come, sweetheart. Let's resume our walk. The night is already high in the sky, and spirit beasts and demons will likely be more active at this time. Although my Tian Ming Dao is powerful enough to affect the heavens above, Master's body is currently not. With just one little push, we could easily be killed by the beasts that roam the night in search of prey."

Knowing the statement was true, Ying Yue smiled wryly and nodded in agreement with his helpless words. After witnessing her master's second culling, she walked toward him and wrapped herself around his strong hand, fully aware that this person who was capable of affecting the heavens above was her master all along.
